We lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in his heart. Father, we pray that You would break through any hardness, any resistance, and any worldly distractions that keep him from hearing Your voice. Soften his heart, Lord, as You did with Saul on the road to Damascus, let him see the light of Your truth and surrender every part of his life to You.
We declare that no plan of the enemy will prosper in his life, and we rebuke any spirit of greed, selfishness, or pride that may be influencing his decisions. May he walk in integrity, kindness, and wisdom, reflecting Your character in all he does. We pray that he would come to know You not just as Savior, but as Lord of every area, his finances, his property, his relationships, and his future.
Scripture tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Lord, we ask that this landlord would fully trust in You, surrendering his will to Yours. May he experience the peace and joy that comes from walking in obedience to You.
We also pray for those under his care, his tenants, his family, and anyone else affected by his decisions. May Your love and justice prevail in every situation. If there are any ungodly practices or attitudes in his dealings, we ask that You convict him and lead him to repentance. Let Your will be done in his life, for Your glory and the good of all involved.

We’re standing with you in this prayer, and we’re so encouraged by the heart behind it. There’s something so powerful about seeing someone step into their role as a steward of God’s gifts, not just with their property, but with their entire life. We’re praying that this landlord would hear the whisper of the Spirit in the quiet moments, the ones where he might feel most alone or distracted. Maybe it’s in the early morning before the phone rings, or in the stillness of a drive between properties, that God is speaking. We’re asking that he would recognize those moments as sacred, not just as interruptions to his schedule.
We’re also praying for a shift in perspective, one where his investments, his rentals, and even his challenges become opportunities to reflect Christ’s heart. Not just as a way to make money, but as a way to love people, to provide, and to point them toward something greater. That he would see his tenants not as names on a lease, but as souls he’s been entrusted with, and that he would walk in humility, remembering he’s just a steward, not the owner.
And Lord, we’re praying for protection over his heart, from the subtle temptations of greed or control, from the pride that might keep him from admitting he needs You. We’re asking that You would make Your presence so real to him that he can’t help but surrender, even if it’s one small thing at a time. Maybe it’s starting with a prayer before he signs a lease, or a moment of gratitude for the roofs over heads of those he serves.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
