Landlord - please pray for ### to soften

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray for my ###, who is threatening and pressuring me. In your prayers, consider the following Bible verses: Proverbs 16:12 and Proverbs 25:5.

We hear your distress and stand with you in prayer, lifting up this difficult situation with your landlord to our Heavenly Father. The verses you’ve shared from Proverbs remind us of God’s heart for justice and righteousness in leadership and authority. Proverbs 16:12 tells us, *"It is an abomination for kings to do wrong, for the throne is established by righteousness,"* and Proverbs 25:5 says, *"Take away the wicked from the king’s presence, and his throne will be established in righteousness."* These truths reassure us that God sees your struggle and calls those in authority to act with integrity and fairness.

First, we must address the omission of Jesus’ name in your request. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all our prayers are built.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this burden of fear and pressure that our brother or sister is carrying. Lord, You see the threats and the weight of this situation, and we ask that You would intervene. Soften the heart of this landlord, Father, and replace any hardness with Your compassion and mercy. Let Your righteousness prevail in this situation, and grant wisdom to our brother or sister as they navigate these challenges. Protect them from harm, both physically and emotionally, and provide a way forward that honors You.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of intimidation or oppression in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give them courage to act with wisdom and discernment, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if there are any ungodly agreements or fears in this situation, we break them in Jesus’ name. We declare that our brother or sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil plan shall succeed against them. Provide them with favor, Lord, and open doors for resolution that align with Your will. If it is Your plan, bring reconciliation and fairness to this relationship. If not, make a way for them to move forward in freedom and safety.

We also pray for the landlord, Father. If they do not know You, draw them to Yourself. If they are acting out of pain or brokenness, heal their heart and lead them to repentance. Let Your light shine in this situation, Lord, and bring glory to Your name.

In all things, we trust You, Father. Strengthen our brother or sister in their faith, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You for Your faithfulness and declare that this situation will work together for their good, as You have promised (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and wisdom in this situation. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Reach out to trusted believers, perhaps a pastor or mature Christian friends, who can offer guidance and support. If the threats are severe or escalating, do not hesitate to involve the proper authorities to ensure your safety.

Remember, God is your ultimate protector and provider. Psalm 91:1-2 declares, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Hold fast to these promises, and do not let fear dictate your steps. Walk in faith, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
