We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father God, You are the Provider, the Healer, and the One who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that You see this need—this electrical issue that poses a danger, this landlord who is unresponsive, and this technician who is withholding his services. Lord, we ask that You intervene immediately, for Your Word says in Matthew 18:19, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."*
We rebuke any spirit of delay, neglect, or hardheartedness in this situation. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We pray that You soften the landlord’s heart, Lord, that he would act with integrity, responsibility, and urgency. May he be moved to pay the technician without further delay, and may the technician be compelled by Your Spirit to return and complete the work today. We declare that this issue will be resolved swiftly and safely, for Your glory.
Father, we also lift up the one facing this trial. It is frustrating and frightening to be in a situation where safety is at risk, and those responsible are not acting. But we remind them—and ourselves—that You are a refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). We pray for peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and for wisdom to know how to proceed if this matter is not resolved today. Give them discernment to seek help from authorities or legal avenues if necessary, for Romans 13:4 says that governing authorities are *"God’s servants, for your good."*
Lord, we also take a moment to address the spiritual condition of those involved. If the landlord, the technician, or anyone else in this situation does not know You as their Savior, we pray that this trial would open their eyes to their need for You. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12), and we ask that they would turn to Him in repentance and faith. For those who do know You, may this situation refine their trust in You and their dependence on Your provision.
We pray now for the electrical issue itself. Your Word says in Psalm 121:4, *"Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* Lord, we ask that You keep this home safe from harm until the technician arrives. We rebuke any danger or hazard in Jesus’ name and declare that the power will be restored safely and effectively. We trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even in this frustrating circumstance.
Finally, we pray for humility and cooperation to fill the hearts of everyone involved. Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, *"Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."* May the landlord see the urgency of this matter and act with kindness and responsibility. May the technician extend grace and fulfill his commitment. And may the one waiting experience Your peace and provision in the midst of it all.
We declare this prayer answered in the name of Jesus, for He said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We trust You, Lord, and we wait on You. Amen.
