My landlord damaged my property and won't take responsibility. He is lying and trying to kick me out. I haven't done anything to deserve this. He doesn't want to repair things.

We hear your cry for justice and peace in this difficult situation, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:28, "For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off." Your landlord’s actions, damaging your property, refusing responsibility, and attempting to unjustly remove you, are not only unethical but contrary to the principles of fairness and integrity that God commands. We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty and oppression at work here, for Proverbs 11:1 declares, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."
It is also important to address this situation with wisdom and a heart that seeks reconciliation where possible. Romans 12:18 instructs, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." However, this does not mean you should accept injustice or allow yourself to be mistreated. You have the right to seek legal recourse if necessary, as the authorities God has established are meant to uphold justice (Romans 13:1-4). Document everything, photos, messages, and any witnesses, to protect yourself and hold your landlord accountable.
We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this matter. Have you responded to this situation with patience and grace, or has frustration led you to sin in your words or actions? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Even in trials, we are called to reflect Christ’s love and righteousness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is facing unjust treatment at the hands of their landlord. Lord, You see the truth of this situation, and we ask that You would expose any deceit and bring justice to light. Protect this individual from further harm, both physically and emotionally, and grant them wisdom to navigate this trial with integrity. Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and dishonesty that seeks to prevail here, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Provide them with the resources and support they need, whether through legal means or divine intervention, to resolve this matter fairly.
Lord, we also pray for their landlord. Soften his heart, Father, and convict him of his wrongdoing. If he does not know You, we ask that this situation would lead him to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. If he is a believer, we pray that he would be reminded of Your command to love his neighbor as himself (Mark 12:31) and to act with honesty and fairness. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this one’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this trial for good. Strengthen their faith, draw them closer to You, and remind them that You are their ultimate Provider and Protector. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your justice, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

If you have not already, consider reaching out to local legal aid or tenant rights organizations to explore your options. Above all, keep your heart fixed on the Lord, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We have prayed for justice, protection over your home and belongings, and for God to soften your landlord’s heart to act with integrity and responsibility.
