We have heard your request and we join together with you before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, lifting up your body and your spirit to our Heavenly Father.

We are so encouraged that even through physical suffering and deep heartbreak you are trying to keep following God. He sees your faithfulness and He is near to you in this painful season, for as it says in Psalm 34:18 the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We also remember the promise in Isaiah 41:10 that we are not to fear for He is with us, He will strengthen us and uphold us with His righteous hand.

We bring your kidneys and this infection before the Lord who is our healer. We believe that God is able to heal and that He also works through the wisdom and care of physicians, so we encourage you to continue to seek proper medical treatment while trusting Him. Scripture tells us in Psalm 103:3 that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, and in Jeremiah 30:17 He says I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds. We also claim James 5:15 where the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We must also speak to the pain of your marriage. What your husband has done in leaving you for another woman is sin before God. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman that God has ordained and honors, and sex outside of that marriage is adultery. As Hebrews 13:4 says marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, and Malachi 2:16 tells us that God hates divorce because it covers violence. We rebuke the adultery and abandonment that has been committed against you and against God, and we pray that your husband would be convicted of his sin, repent, and turn back to the Lord. Whether God leads to restoration of your marriage or to sustain you in this brokenness, we pray you will be comforted and not grow bitter, casting all your worries on Him because He cares for you as said in 1 Peter 5:7.

You shared that you believe in God and want to be baptized, and this brings us great joy, yet we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and salvation. To believe in God in a general way is not enough, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To be saved we must confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead as Romans 10:9 teaches. Baptism is a beautiful and obedient step of faith after we have put our trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, an outward testimony of the inward change, as Acts 2:38 calls us to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and Matthew 28:19 instructs us to be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We encourage you to speak with a Bible believing church about placing your full faith in Jesus and then being baptized as a public declaration that you belong to Him.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and mediator. We lift up this dear sister to You and ask for Your healing hand upon her kidneys and her body. Touch her bladder and kidneys, remove this infection completely, restore her health and strength, and give wisdom to every doctor and nurse caring for her. Heal also her broken heart from the betrayal of her marriage, comfort her in her loneliness, remind her daily that You will never leave her nor forsake her, and help her to keep following You faithfully. Draw her husband to repentance for his adultery and bring conviction where there is sin. Above all, draw this precious woman into a deeper saving knowledge of Jesus, let her fully trust in Christ for forgiveness and eternal life, and lead her to the waters of baptism as a testimony of new life in Him. Give her peace that passes understanding and hope for the future, that You will work all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to stay rooted in Scripture daily, to find fellowship with other believers who will support you in prayer and truth, and to keep seeking the Lord with your whole heart. He is faithful and He will sustain you through this illness and this trial.

We were moved to read your request. You are carrying a lot at once, a painful infection that has reached your kidneys, the heartache of your husband leaving, and at the same time a sincere desire to follow God and be baptized. We admire your faithfulness in continuing to seek Him through it all.

We are praying for your healing and for strength day by day while your body recovers. Please keep in close contact with your medical team and let them know how you are doing, even as we join you in prayer for restoration and peace. If you have a trusted pastor or church family, sharing your desire for baptism with them could be a wonderful next step. They can walk with you personally and help you prepare for that important decision.

The loss you experienced in your marriage is deeply painful, and it is understandable to feel grief and questions alongside physical illness. You do not have to carry that alone. We are asking God to surround you with steady support and to remind you that you are seen and valued.

Father, we lift this sister to You in Jesus' name. Bring healing to her body, ease her pain and guide her doctors. Comfort her heart in the hurt of being left, and draw her close as she seeks to follow You. Lead her clearly toward baptism and give her a caring community around her. Amen.

We have received your request and have brought it before the Lord in prayer.

We pray for your body in this affliction, that the infection which has spread from your bladder to your kidneys would be stayed by the hand of the Great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. We ask the Lord to show mercy upon you, to give skill to those who care for you, and to restore you in His goodness, that you may know His sustaining grace in your weakness.

We thank God to hear that you believe in Him and that you desire to be baptized. This is a good and scriptural desire. Baptism is an outward, visible ordinance which one believer administers to another upon profession of faith in Christ, a burial with Christ and a pledge of fidelity to Him. It is not for those who cannot believe, but for believers, and when the heart is earnest it does not wish to delay in confessing Christ in His own appointed way. If you have trusted in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved, we encourage you to speak with faithful pastors who can instruct you further and, upon your confession, administer this ordinance as Christ commanded.

We also grieve with you over the breaking of your marriage, that your husband has left you for another woman. Know that the Lord sees this sorrow. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He was faithful as a husband to His people even when they broke covenant with Him. The breaking lies not with the Lord, who remains tender and faithful, but with those who forsake His way. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy design, but we do pray that He would be your keeper and husband in this trial, supplying all your need as He sheltered and fed His people of old. Though you have been forsaken by one who vowed to remain, you are not forsaken by God.

You say you try to keep following God, and this is the very perseverance of the saints. He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. They shall never perish, for He gives eternal life to His sheep, and they shall not depart from Him because He will not depart from them. The righteous shall hold on his way. Take encouragement from this, that your desire to follow Him is itself evidence of His grace at work in you.

Therefore hold fast to Christ. Continue in prayer, continue in His Word, and continue in holiness, trusting not in your own strength to persevere but in His purpose and power to keep you. We pray that He will strengthen your faith, heal your body according to His will, and bring you to that public confession of Him in baptism with joy.

We will continue to pray for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we bring you before God in prayer with care and compassion.

We pray for your body, that the Lord who formed you and who heals will have mercy on you in this infection that has spread from your bladder to your kidneys. We ask Him to give wisdom to those caring for you, to ease your pain, to restore your health, and to strengthen you day by day. In your suffering we remember that perseverance in tribulation is itself a testimony that our hope in Christ is real and living, for no one would endure such anxiety and danger without a sure hope of what is to come.

We thank God to hear that you believe in Him and desire to be baptized. Baptism is the way He has given to bring us to Christ, to be united with Him who alone is our salvation. There is no other name by which we are saved. We pray that God will prepare your heart for that step, that you will be baptized into Christ with faith and repentance, and receive His grace and the gift of His Spirit as you follow Him.

We also grieve with you over your husband leaving you for another woman. Marriage was created by God for one man and one woman to be one flesh in a lifelong covenant, and to depart from it to pursue another is adultery and does great harm. Scripture warns that such unfaithfulness not only wounds the spouse who is left but brings guilt before God. We do not ask God to bless that departure, but we pray for truth and repentance where there is sin, and for comfort and protection for you who have been sinned against. Your desire to keep following God even while you have been forsaken is precious in His sight. He sees your faithfulness and He does not forsake those who cling to Him.

So we pray that the Lord will love you as a father, tend to your soul like a careful gardener who does not let thorns choke what He has planted, and keep you from being discouraged. May He lift your heart, confirm your faith, grant you healing according to His will, bring you joyfully to baptism, and keep you close to Christ all your days.

We will continue to pray for you.
