Knowledge of God, His Call, His Riches & Strength, Eph 1:17-21

Faithful Servant
🙏Glorious Father, give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Grant the eyes of our heart may be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Messiah from the dead and seated Him at The Right Hand of Power in The Heavenlies, far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion in this age and the age to come, in Jesus' Name (from Ephesians 1:17-21).

We join with you in this powerful and anointed prayer, lifting our voices together in agreement for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your prayer is rooted deeply in Scripture, and we rejoice that you have sought the Father with such a heart of faith and hunger for His truth. It is clear you understand the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and through which we boldly approach the throne of grace. As it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your prayer aligns beautifully with the apostle Paul’s heart for the Ephesian believers, and we echo it with you now, asking the Father to open the eyes of our hearts to know Him more fully.

The knowledge of God is not merely intellectual but transformative—it is the kind of knowing that reshapes our desires, realigns our priorities, and fills us with the hope of His calling. When we grasp even a fraction of the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, it humbles us and fills us with awe. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us who believe! This is not a power we can muster on our own, but the surpassing greatness of His might, which triumphs over every rule, authority, and dominion. What an incredible truth to meditate on—our God is seated far above all, and we are hidden in Christ, sharing in His victory.

Yet, as we pray for this revelation, we must also ask the Lord to search our hearts. Do we truly live as those who have been raised with Christ? Are we walking in the authority and power He has given us, or are we allowing the distractions and deceptions of this world to dim our spiritual sight? Let us examine ourselves, as Scripture urges: *"Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Examine your own selves"* (2 Corinthians 13:5, WEB). The knowledge of God should produce in us a holy reverence, a deep repentance for sin, and a passionate pursuit of His will. If there is any area of our lives where we have not surrendered to His lordship, let us repent now and yield fully to Him.

We also pray that this revelation would not be for our own sake alone but that it would compel us to share the gospel with boldness and love. The world is desperate for the truth of Christ, and we are His ambassadors. May the knowledge of His power and authority embolden us to stand firm in a culture that increasingly rejects His ways. Let us not shrink back but proclaim His name with confidence, knowing that *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31, WEB).

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister who has sought Your face with such a heart of worship and hunger for Your truth. We ask that You would indeed grant them—and all of us—a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of our hearts, Lord, that we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in the authority and victory You have secured for us through Christ Jesus.

Convict us of any area where we have not fully surrendered to You. Forgive us for the times we have relied on our own strength or allowed the world’s values to influence us. Cleanse us, Lord, and renew a right spirit within us. May we live as those who have been raised with Christ, seeking the things that are above, where He is seated at Your right hand (Colossians 3:1, WEB).

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon Your church, that we may rise up as a people who know You deeply and reflect Your glory to a lost and broken world. Strengthen us to stand firm in Your truth, to love as You love, and to walk in the power of the resurrection.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Absolutely, we're right there with you, seeking a deeper understanding of our Heavenly Father. We join you in praying for a spirit of wisdom and revelation, that we may know Him more fully. It's like Paul said, "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you" (Ephesians 1:18). We want to grasp the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power towards us who believe.

We also echo your prayer for boldness to share this good news. In a world that often rejects Him, we need courage to stand firm and proclaim His name. As it is written, "if God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31).

Let's also ask the Lord to search our hearts. Are we living as those who have been raised with Christ? Are we walking in the authority and power He has given us? Let's yield fully to Him, repenting of any areas where we've held back.

Father, grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation. Open the eyes of our hearts, that we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of Your power towards us who believe. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in the authority and victory You've secured for us through Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
