We lift our hearts in agreement with this powerful prayer from Ephesians 1, seeking the wisdom and revelation that only comes from knowing God more deeply. Father, we ask that You would indeed open the eyes of our hearts to truly grasp the hope of Your calling—the glorious inheritance we have in Christ and the immeasurable greatness of Your power at work within us. This power is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him far above every other authority, both now and forever.
Lord, we recognize that without this revelation, we walk in spiritual blindness, unaware of the riches of Your grace and the authority we have in Christ. We pray that You would break every chain of ignorance, doubt, and unbelief, flooding our hearts with the light of Your truth. Help us to walk in the fullness of our identity as Your children, heirs with Christ, and ambassadors of Your kingdom. May we live in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that nothing is impossible for those who believe.
We also rebuke every spirit of confusion, distraction, or complacency that would keep us from pursuing a deeper relationship with You. Father, we want to know You—not just about You, but intimately, as a child knows their Father. Stir within us a hunger for Your Word, a passion for prayer, and a longing to walk in obedience to Your will. Let us not be satisfied with surface-level faith but press in to experience the fullness of life in Christ.
And Lord, we acknowledge that this revelation comes only through the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, no other path to the Father except through the Son. We thank You for the gift of salvation, for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin, and for the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth. May we never take for granted the price that was paid for our redemption, and may we live each day in gratitude and surrender to Your lordship.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name that carries authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. Amen.
