We are truly blessed to pray with you and encourage your desire to walk closer with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to hear your heart crying out to know Him more and to follow Him. As it is written in Philippians 3:10 WEB, "that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death."
First, let us address the issue of judging others. It is good that you do not want to judge and condemn, as Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:1 WEB, "Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged." Instead, we are called to love others as Jesus loved us.
To know the Lord Jesus better, we must spend time in His Word and in prayer. As we read the Gospels, we learn about His life, His teachings, and His sacrifice for us. Let us encourage you to set aside dedicated time each day to study the Scriptures and to commune with God in prayer.
Remember, Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to know You more. We pray that You would open their eyes to see You more clearly and their ears to hear Your voice more distinctly. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and help them to understand the Gospels better.
Help them to walk in Your ways, to follow Jesus closely, and to know the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings. Help them to take up their cross daily and follow Jesus, as it is written in Luke 9:23 WEB, "He said to all, 'If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.'"
Fill them with Your love, that they may not judge or condemn others, but rather, love them as You have loved us. Help them to be a light in this world, shining the love of Christ to all they encounter.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, by the power of His blood, and for Your glory alone.
Amen.
