🙏 Know God, His will, Wisdom, Understanding, Strength, Endurance; Rejoicing in Jesus' Inheritance, Col 1:9-12

Nochaeld

Faithful Servant
🙏 We have not ceased praying, asking we may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk worthily of You, please You in every ways, bear fruit in every good work, grow by increasingly knowing You more; continually strengthened with power, according to the might of Your Glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to You as Our Father who qualified us to share in the inheritance of all the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12, thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this beautiful and powerful prayer, lifting up your heart’s cry to know God more deeply, to walk in His will, and to be strengthened by His might. Your words echo the very desires the Holy Spirit plants within every believer’s heart—a longing to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, and to bear fruit in every good work. This is a prayer that aligns perfectly with Scripture, and we rejoice that you have sought the Lord with such humility and faith.

The passage you’ve shared from Colossians 1:9-12 is a profound reminder of what it means to live as children of light, rooted in Christ and growing in Him. Let us reflect on these verses together, for they hold the key to the abundant life Jesus promises:

*"We have not ceased praying and asking on your behalf that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light."* (Colossians 1:9-12, WEB)

Your prayer is a testament to the work God is already doing in you. To seek His will above all else is to surrender to His lordship, and to ask for wisdom and understanding is to acknowledge that apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). The request for strength and endurance is especially poignant, for the Christian life is not one of ease but of perseverance, running the race set before us with our eyes fixed on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-2). And what a joy it is to give thanks for the inheritance we have in Christ—an inheritance not earned by our own merit but freely given by the Father, who qualified us through the blood of His Son.

Yet, as we pray with you, we must also ask: *Do you know with certainty that you are qualified to share in this inheritance?* The inheritance of the saints in light is reserved for those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, who have repented of their sins and placed their faith in Him alone for salvation. If you have never confessed Jesus as Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, then this inheritance is not yet yours (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have already surrendered your life to Christ, then rejoice! Your prayer is the evidence of a heart transformed by His grace. But if you have not, we urge you to turn to Him today, for He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Now, let us pray together for you, that the Lord would answer your petition with abundance, filling you to overflowing with His presence and power:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the way You are working in the life of Your child who has lifted this prayer. Lord, You are the God who reveals Himself to those who seek You with all their heart (Jeremiah 29:13), and we ask that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Open their eyes to see the depths of Your love, the breadth of Your power, and the beauty of Your holiness. May they walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing in every way—not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit working within them.

Father, we ask that You would cause them to bear fruit in every good work, that their life would be a testament to Your goodness and grace. May they grow in the knowledge of You, not just in head knowledge, but in the deep, abiding relationship that comes from spending time in Your Word and in prayer. Strengthen them with all power, according to Your glorious might, that they may have steadfastness and patience in every trial, every temptation, and every season of waiting. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

And Lord, fill them with joyous thanksgiving, for You have qualified them to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. Let them never forget the price that was paid for their redemption—the precious blood of Jesus, the Lamb without blemish or spot (1 Peter 1:19). May they live each day in the reality of this inheritance, walking as children of light, redeemed and set apart for Your purposes.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or distraction that would seek to hinder this work in their life. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every lie of the enemy to be silenced, and we declare that the truth of God’s Word will take root deeply in their heart. Let them not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of their mind, that they may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

Finally, Father, we ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who will encourage them, challenge them, and walk alongside them in this journey of faith. Let them not walk alone, but be knit together with those who will spur them on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Beloved, as you continue to seek the Lord, remember that the knowledge of His will is not just for your own edification but for the building up of the body of Christ. You are part of a royal priesthood, a holy nation, called to proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Keep pressing into Him, for it is in the secret place of His presence that you will find the wisdom, strength, and joy you seek. And as you walk in obedience, you will discover that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).

If there are specific areas in your life where you are struggling to discern God’s will or where you feel weak and in need of His strength, we encourage you to share those with us. Sometimes, the enemy seeks to isolate us in our struggles, but God has designed us for community. You are not alone in this journey. We are here to stand with you, pray with you, and point you ever back to the truth of God’s Word.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the confidence of your inheritance, for you are His, and He is yours.

We're right there with you, dear friend, echoing your heart's cry to know God more deeply, to walk in His will, and to be strengthened by His might. Your prayer, like a sweet fragrance, ascends to heaven, and we join you in this beautiful petition.

As we lift our voices together, let's reflect on Colossians 1:9-12, the passage that has stirred your heart. It's a roadmap for the abundant life Jesus promised, guiding us to:

- Be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we can walk worthily of Him.
- Bear fruit in every good work, growing in our knowledge of Him.
- Be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience.
- Joyously give thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

Let's ask the Holy Spirit to make these verses come alive in our hearts and lives. Let's ask Him to fill us with the knowledge of God's will, to help us walk worthy of our calling, to strengthen us in times of trial, and to fill us with joy and thanksgiving.

And remember, dear one, as we pray, let's also ask: Do we know with certainty that we are qualified to share in this inheritance? The inheritance of the saints in light is reserved for those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. If you haven't already, confess Jesus as Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10). There's no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it's only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Now, let's pray together, dear friend. Let's ask the Lord to answer your petition with abundance, filling you to overflowing with His presence and power. Let's ask Him to reveal Himself to you, to fill you with the knowledge of His will, to help you walk worthily of Him, to bear fruit in every good work, to strengthen you with all power, and to fill you with joyous thanksgiving.

And finally, let's ask the Lord to surround you with a community of believers who will encourage, challenge, and walk alongside you in this journey of faith.

We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty and matchless name, amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We have been lifting your heartfelt cry for deeper intimacy with the Father before the throne, standing with you in prayer that you would be filled with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. It has been our joy to intercede alongside you, asking that the Lord would strengthen you with His mighty power so that you may walk in a manner worthy of Him—bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the grace of knowing Christ more fully.

As the days have passed, we want you to know we remain steadfast in praying Colossians 1:9–12 over you, that your endurance and patience would be marked by joyous thanksgiving, rooted in the truth that our Father has already qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. What a precious reminder that this is not a burden you carry alone—we are here, continuing to seek the Lord’s face on your behalf, trusting that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

If the Lord has already begun to answer, opening your eyes to His will or filling you with fresh strength and wisdom, we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. There is nothing sweeter than testifying together to His goodness! But if you still find yourself waiting, leaning into His promises, we invite you to share your request again so we may persist in prayer with you. The journey of knowing Christ is one of continual surrender, and we are honored to walk it with you in prayer.

May you be encouraged today that He who began this work in you is faithful to bring it to completion. We are cheering you on, believing that as you seek Him, you will find Him in ever-greater ways. Keep pressing in, dear sibling in Christ—He is worth it all. We commit you once more into His hands, praying in Jesus’ name.
