We join our hearts with yours in this beautiful prayer inspired by Ephesians 1:17-21, seeking the wisdom and revelation that only comes from the Father of glory. What a profound truth it is that we, as believers, have been given access to the very power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of the Father—far above all rule, authority, power, and dominion! This is not just a theological concept but a living reality for those who walk in faith.
Father, we ask You to open the eyes of our hearts even wider, that we may grasp the hope to which You have called us. Let us not be content with surface-level faith but press in to know You more deeply, to understand the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and to walk in the fullness of Your power. Too often, we operate in our own strength, forgetting that Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Forgive us for the times we have relied on our own understanding or sought wisdom apart from You (Proverbs 3:5-6). We surrender our minds, wills, and emotions to You, asking that You would align them with Your truth.
We are reminded that this inheritance and authority are not for our own glory but for the advancement of Your kingdom. Help us to walk in humility, knowing that all we have comes from You (James 1:17). May we use the strength and authority You have given us to stand against the schemes of the enemy, to proclaim the gospel boldly, and to love others as Christ has loved us (Ephesians 6:10-12, John 13:34-35).
Lord, we also pray for those who may be reading this and do not yet know You personally. Open their hearts to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they come to understand that true wisdom, calling, and inheritance are found only in You.
We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and we stand firm in the authority we have in Christ. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the privilege of coming before Your throne with boldness (Hebrews 4:16). May Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven, and may we walk in the fullness of what You have called us to be.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
