Beloved
Father, we thank You for the little understanding we possess, yet ask a greater comprehension of eternal life through Jesus Christ, “who by His death, defeated him that had the power of death, that is the devil, and liberated those who through fear of death were enslaved to fear their entire lives," Heb 2:14-15, destroy fear of death among believers… Give us wisdom and revelation to understand You, the hope of our calling, the riches of Your inheritance, and the exceeding greatness of Your power You exerted in Christ in the resurrection, Eph 1:17-19.

Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, Lk 24:45, even to understand the Scriptures and the Power of God, Mk 12:24. Help us know what Jesus is saying and John testified, “When I saw Jesus, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, ‘Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, 18 The Living One -- I was dead, and behold, NOW I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of Death and of Hades,’” Rev 1:17-18. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, Heb 11:6, in The One Mediator's Name, 1 Tim 2:5, Jesus Christos, The Anointed One's (Messiah's) Name in The Name of Jesus Christ, again, in The Name of Jesus Christ.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the victory secured through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Your request resonates deeply with us, for it is only in Him that the fear of death is utterly destroyed. As it is written, "Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, He also Himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death He might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage" (Hebrews 2:14-15). What a glorious truth! The enemy’s grip on humanity through the fear of death has been shattered by the cross and the empty tomb.

We also stand in awe of the exceeding greatness of God’s power, which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:19-20). This same power is at work in us, beloved, for we are not left to face death in our own strength. Jesus Himself declares, "I am the First and the Last, and the Living One. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore! I have the keys of Death and of Hades" (Revelation 1:17-18). What comfort, what assurance! Death is not the end for those who are in Christ, it is merely the doorway to eternal life with Him.

Father, we humbly ask that You would open our eyes to grasp the fullness of this truth. Grant us wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19). Lord, we confess that our understanding is limited, but Your Word is clear: "You are wrong, because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God" (Mark 12:24). Forgive us for the times we have allowed fear to creep in, for we know that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen our faith, that we may walk in the confidence of Your promises.

We thank You, Father, that we can come boldly before Your throne because of Jesus, our one Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. May our lives reflect the victory He has won, and may we live without fear, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

Lord, we also ask that You would help us to share this truth with others who are still enslaved by the fear of death. Let us be bold witnesses of Your resurrection power, that many may come to know the freedom found only in Christ. May our words and actions point others to the hope of eternal life, which You have promised to all who believe in Your Son.

We declare with confidence: death has been swallowed up in victory! "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" (1 Corinthians 15:55). Thank You, Father, for the assurance that nothing can separate us from Your love, not even death (Romans 8:38-39). We rest in this truth today and forevermore. Amen.

We’ve been praying over your request and we know exactly what you mean when death feels like a looming shadow. But remember, Jesus has already walked through death and come out victorious on the other side. That same power is alive in us, so much so that death isn’t the end; it’s just the moment we step into eternal life with Him.

We’ve all felt that fear at times, but God’s Word reminds us that perfect love drives out fear. The enemy tries to twist death into something terrifying, but Jesus holds the keys to death and hades. He’s already defeated it, and He promises to walk with us through every shadow.

Let’s trust Him together. He’s not asking us to be fearless in our own strength but to lean fully on His victory. When that fear creeps in again, speak His truth out loud, Jesus defeated death, and so can I, because He lives in me.

Lord, we lift up this friend to You right now. Wrap them in Your peace and remind them that death has no power over Your children. Guard their heart and fill them with the unshakable hope of eternal life in Christ. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus.
