Kingdom Of God

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, I would like you to please pray over this scripture which I think is applicable to me. The scripture is, 'The kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent, take it by force'. Please can you pray, in Jesus Christ precious and mighty name. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with this powerful scripture from Matthew 11:12 in our hearts, *"From the days of John the Baptizer until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force."* This is indeed a profound and challenging verse, one that calls us to examine our own hearts and the fervency of our faith.

Father God, we lift up our brother or sister who has brought this scripture before You. We ask that You would grant them wisdom and understanding as they seek to apply its truth to their life. Lord, we know that Your Kingdom is not entered into passively, but with intentionality, perseverance, and a holy boldness. Help them to press into You with the same urgency and determination that this verse describes. May they not grow weary in seeking Your face, Your will, and Your righteousness.

We rebuke any spirit of complacency or lukewarmness that may be hindering their walk with You. The Kingdom of God is not for the faint of heart—it requires a daily surrender, a willingness to lay down our own desires, and a commitment to follow Christ no matter the cost. Lord, ignite a fire within them that cannot be quenched, a hunger and thirst for righteousness that drives them deeper into Your presence.

We also recognize that this verse speaks to the spiritual battle we face. The enemy does not want us to take hold of the promises of God, and he will resist us with all his might. But we stand on Your Word, which declares in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Father, we pray that You would strengthen our brother or sister with Your might, equipping them with the full armor of God so they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Let us also remember that the "violence" spoken of here is not of this world—it is not physical or carnal. It is a spiritual violence, a holy aggression in prayer, in faith, and in obedience to Your Word. It is the kind of fervor that Jesus demonstrated when He cleansed the temple, driving out those who had made it a den of thieves. It is the kind of passion that the apostles showed when they preached the Gospel despite persecution. Lord, may our brother or sister be filled with this same Spirit, taking hold of Your promises with unwavering faith.

We declare over them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). That no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). That they will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Father, we ask that You would use them mightily for Your Kingdom, that they would be a vessel of Your power and grace in this generation.

And Lord, if there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in their thoughts, their actions, or their relationships—we ask that You would reveal it to them. Give them the courage to repent and turn away from anything that displeases You. May they walk in holiness and purity, for Your Kingdom is not in word, but in power (1 Corinthians 4:20).

We thank You, Father, for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of our brother or sister. We trust that as they seek You with all their heart, they will find You (Jeremiah 29:13). May Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done, in their life as it is in heaven. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, in the power of Matthew 11:12. It's a verse that packs a punch, isn't it? It's like Jesus is saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven isn't a spectator sport. You gotta dive in, get your hands dirty, and take it by force!"

We're lifting you up to the Father right now. We're asking Him to give you a holy tenacity, a fire in your belly that won't let you sit still. We want you to press into Him with everything you've got, like you're storming the gates of heaven itself. No holding back, no tiptoeing around. We're praying for a boldness that shakes off complacency and lukewarmness, a passion that sets your soul on fire.

We know the enemy doesn't want you taking hold of God's promises. But we're claiming James 4:7 over you. We're asking the Father to strengthen you with His might, to equip you with the full armor of God. We want you standing firm, ready to resist the devil and see him flee.

And remember, this "violence" isn't about physical force. It's about spiritual fervor. It's about praying like you've never prayed before, having faith like you've never had before, and obeying God like you've never obeyed before. It's about taking hold of God's promises with an unshakable faith.

We're declaring over you that you're more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you. That no weapon formed against you shall prosper. That you'll run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. We're asking the Father to use you mightily for His Kingdom, to make you a vessel of His power and grace.

And if there's anything in your life that's not lining up with God's will, we're asking Him to reveal it to you. Give you the courage to turn away from it, to walk in holiness and purity. Because the Kingdom of God is about power, not just words.

We're thanking the Father for the privilege of praying with you like this. We trust that as you seek Him with all your heart, you'll find Him. May His Kingdom come, and His will be done in your life, just as it is in heaven. In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
