Kindness soften heart 💗 Rom 2:4, Angelic Help🤺 Gen 19:16, Holy Spirit Work, Jn 16:8, Grace to Embody Christ's Love, Biblical Advice Bears Fruit… 💝 Father, in Your kindness, soften my matrimonial love (we committed to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as You remember), me, and our families to repentance, the purpose which the kindness of God is intended, Rom 2:4. Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16.

Do as You did for Lot in helping him to escape Sodom. You helped him out of indecision by literally seizing him by angels, Gen 19:16... Do as You did for the fisherman who You chose to lead the disciples -- he was proud and boasted, said he was better than all the others, and then denied you repeatedly --- but You didn't give up on him. You gave a similar experience to his first call to be a fisher of men, and then reinstated him three times with gracious humility and even expanded his tent to shepherding others, showing us how to evangelize in early Acts, and how to be a pastor in 1st and 2nd Peter… Thank You for not giving up on Peter…

You mercifully and powerfully confronted Saul on the way to Damascus to persecute your brethren, Acts 9:1-31. Later, after blinding him, letting him mess up, make tents and then giving him some private discipleship — “while they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, The Holy Spirit set Barnabas and him apart for the work to which I called them,” Acts 13:2-3. You made him the Paul we all know and love -- a light to all the people groups... A name change signifies a change in calling and identity -- Thank You for not giving up on Paul…

Don’t give up on the one I love and am so ready and willing to forgive... I truly believe You are MORE willing than I… Grant me strength, endurance, patience, understanding and the right words at the right times, like apples of gold in settings of silver, Ps 12:11, and may it always be from a right heart, mind and motive: Love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:15.

It was while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situation, and help others share this burden with me for her, me, our child, the entire situation and all that’s transpired, good, bad and ugly, to be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14.

The early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to our prayers." Let that be shown to be true not only yesterday, but today and forever. Please work powerfully within me, humbling my soul with fasting, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, to love The LORD and my neighbor with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted, James 1:22-23.

Loose angels to assist her return before group this week, Gen 19:16, Heb 1:14... Place and use the love of Jesus in me to publicly demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, her, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49.

Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth, John 17:17. Let the Word of Christ be engrafted, James 1:22-23, that we may be effective doers. Keep her, them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13, and thank You in advance for the fact "You like to make their faces change," in Jesus' Name.

"I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me has commanded me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49 [1]. May I speak truth the right way (in love, humility and kindness) at the right time (when one isn't tired or in the right place to receive it), Prov 25:11, Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, yet full of hope in His unfailing love and power to restore what has been broken. Your plea for your marriage is deeply felt, and we join you in crying out for God’s mercy and intervention. The Scriptures you’ve referenced remind us of God’s kindness leading to repentance (Romans 2:4), His angelic assistance in times of crisis (Genesis 19:16), and the Holy Spirit’s convicting work (John 16:8). These truths anchor our prayers as we lift you, your spouse, and your marriage before the throne of grace.

First, we must address the foundation of your plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your spouse or any involved have not surrendered their lives to Jesus, this is the first and most critical step. Salvation is not merely a prayer or a decision—it is a transformation of the heart by the Holy Spirit, leading to repentance and faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be opened to see their need for a Savior and that they would turn to Him with all their heart.

Your marriage, committed before God and witnesses, is sacred and ordained by Him (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:6). Yet we know that even the strongest marriages can face storms when sin enters in. If there has been unfaithfulness, deceit, or any form of immorality—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—it must be confessed, repented of, and forsaken (Proverbs 28:13, 1 John 1:9). Forgiveness is not optional for the believer, but it does not mean ignoring sin or enabling it to continue. True repentance involves a turning away from sin and a turning toward God, with a willingness to make amends and seek restoration (Luke 17:3-4). We pray that any hidden sin would be brought to light and dealt with in a way that honors God and brings healing.

The kindness of God is indeed meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we pray that His kindness would soften hearts—yours, your spouse’s, and those of your families. Yet kindness does not mean compromise. God’s kindness toward Lot did not mean He tolerated the sin of Sodom; rather, He rescued Lot *from* it. Similarly, God’s kindness toward Peter did not leave him in his pride and denial but called him to humility and restoration. We pray that God would seize your spouse’s heart as He did with Lot, not with force that violates her free will, but with a divine urgency that compels her to choose life and obedience (Deuteronomy 30:19). May the Holy Spirit convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and may she respond with a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17).

You have expressed a willingness to forgive, and this is commendable. Forgiveness is a command for believers (Colossians 3:13), but it must be coupled with wisdom. Forgiveness does not mean reconciliation happens instantly or without boundaries. Reconciliation requires repentance from the offending party and a process of rebuilding trust (Matthew 18:15-17). We pray that your spouse would come to a place of genuine repentance, not just sorrow over consequences, but a godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10). If she is willing to meet with pastors and put everything on the table, as you’ve mentioned (James 5:15-16), this is a step in the right direction. May this be a time of honest confession, prayer, and healing, with godly counsel guiding the way.

We also lift up your heart in this process. It is easy to grow weary, to speak out of frustration, or to react in ways that do not reflect Christ. You’ve asked for the right words at the right time—"apples of gold in settings of silver" (Proverbs 25:11)—and we pray that God would grant you this wisdom. May your words and actions be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6), and may your love be patient and kind, not easily angered, and always hopeful (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Guard your heart from bitterness, for it will only poison you (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, let the peace of Christ rule in your heart (Colossians 3:15), and may His love compel you to walk in humility and truth.

Fasting and prayer are powerful tools in the believer’s arsenal (Matthew 17:21), and we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this way. As the early church understood, fasting lends wings to our prayers. It humbles us before God and sharpens our dependence on Him. We pray that as you fast, the Lord would sanctify every area of your life—every thought, word, deed, and reaction—so that you may love Him and your neighbor with all your heart (Matthew 22:37-39). May the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16), and may it be engrafted into your life so that you are not just hearers of the Word, but doers (James 1:22-23).

You’ve asked for angelic assistance, and Scripture affirms that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). We pray that God would loose His angels to go before your spouse, to protect her, and to guide her steps back to you and to the Lord. May they intervene in ways that only God can orchestrate, softening her heart and removing any obstacles that stand in the way of repentance and restoration.

Yet we must also pray for protection—protection from the evil one, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The enemy would love nothing more than to see your marriage torn apart, your faith weakened, and your witness tarnished. We pray that God would keep you both from temptation (Matthew 6:13), from evil people (2 Thessalonians 3:2), and from the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). May the Lord sanctify you by the truth of His Word (John 17:17), and may you stand firm in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Finally, we pray for the glory of God to be revealed in this situation. No matter the outcome, may His name be praised. If restoration comes, may it be a testimony to His power and grace. If it does not, may your faith remain steadfast, and may you continue to walk in love and obedience, trusting that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). May you be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), demonstrating the love of Christ in every circumstance.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and dependence on Your mercy. We lift up this marriage before You, asking that You would move in power to soften hearts, bring repentance, and restore what has been broken. Lord, we know that You are more willing to restore than we are to ask, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. Grant this brother strength, patience, and wisdom as he waits on You. Soften his spouse’s heart, Lord, and draw her back to You and to her covenant before You. Send Your angels to minister to her, to protect her, and to guide her steps. Convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment by Your Holy Spirit, and may she respond with a heart of repentance.

Father, we pray for protection over this marriage—protection from the evil one, from temptation, and from any influence that would seek to destroy it. Sanctify them both by Your truth, and may Your Word be engrafted into their lives. Teach them to love one another as You have loved them, with patience, kindness, and humility. If there has been sin, bring it to light and lead them to repentance and restoration. If there are wounds, heal them. If there is bitterness, root it out. May Your peace rule in their hearts, and may Your love be the foundation of their home.

Lord, we also pray for this brother’s heart. Guard him from bitterness, from impatience, and from speaking out of turn. Give him the right words at the right time, and may his actions reflect the love of Christ. As he fasts and prays, draw him closer to You, and may he hunger and thirst for righteousness. Raise up others to share this burden with him, to pray with him, and to encourage him in the faith.

Father, we trust You with this situation. Whether You choose to restore this marriage or lead them in separate paths, may Your name be glorified. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in their lives. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
