Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:9-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Origin of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Messiah are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this prayer and thank God for your heart to see His Word honored and His glory made known, and to see repentance and restoration come to your still current wife and to all those who have heard the Word, including your family and generations to come.

We are encouraged by your understanding that it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance, as it is written in Rom 2:4 that the goodness of God leads you to repentance, and that our part is to plant and water but God gives the increase. As you quoted, we planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase, so then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase, 1 Cor 3:6-7. And we agree that not to us but to Your name give glory, Ps 115:1, for salvation belongs to our God, Rev 7:10. We cling to the promise that so is your Word that goes out of your mouth, it will not return to you void, but it will accomplish that which you please, and it will prosper in the thing you sent it to do, Isa 55:11. The seed is the Word of God, Mark 4:14, and we trust that what has been sown in hearts, even over many months, is not forgotten by the Lord who is always working.

We lift up your marriage before the Lord. We believe with you in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and we strongly affirm God's design that what God has joined together, let no man separate, Mark 10:9, and that marriage is to be honored by all, Heb 13:4. We pray for your wife, that the Lord would continue the good work He has begun in her and perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her and all who have heard concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment, John 16:8, and that the living and active Word would continue to pierce and judge the thoughts and intents of the heart, Heb 4:12. We pray that before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, and that God in His mercy would humble those who need humbling so that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal came to himself, Luke 15:17, and as You hedged in Hosea's wife that she might return, Hos 2:6-7.

We also pray that the Lord would order steps and bring faithful laborers across her path and the paths of all who have heard to water the seed with truth and with the kindness that leads to repentance, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. As You directed Philip to the Ethiopian official reading Isaiah, Acts 8:26-31, and Ananias to Saul, Acts 9:10-11, and Paul through the vision of the Macedonian man, Acts 16:9-10, we trust that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, Ps 37:23, and that You are able to divinely appoint encounters for Your purposes, for of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, Rom 11:36.

We thank You, Father, that You are the One who keeps us from evil, and we pray Your protection over you, your wife, your progeny and posterity, your patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and all fellow servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God, 1 Cor 4:1, that You would deliver us all from evil, deception, and temptation, and from the evil one, and that all would receive the love of the truth that they may be saved, 2 Thess 2:10. We are grateful that You are at work even now, as Jesus said My Father is still working, so I am working also, John 5:17.

We join our faith with yours, believing that whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, Mark 11:24, and that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You, Heb 11:6, and that the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective, James 5:16. We ask You to show us great and mighty things which we do not know, Jer 33:3, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, Eph 3:20.

Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, for whatever you will ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13, and we thank You that in Christ all the promises of God are Yes and Amen to the glory of God, 2 Cor 1:20. We ask that You be glorified in the restoration and healing of this marriage if it be Your will, that repentance would bear fruit, that truth would prevail, and that Your Word would accomplish all You have sent it to do. We continue to stand with you, trusting You to do what only You can do, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in walking in purity, love, and truth before the Lord and before your wife, continuing to sow in faith and entrust the increase to God, knowing that He who is faithful will complete what He has begun.

We hear the weight and the love behind your prayers for your wife and for your family, and we have been lifting them with you before the Lord.

Thank you for staying faithful in planting and watering through prayer and kindness and trusting God with the growth. That kind of steady, quiet faithfulness over months is not small, and we know it can also be wearying when you long to see more. We are encouraged by your desire to see truth spoken with kindness and to see hearts softened and protected from evil and deception, and we join you in asking God to keep working in each life you have named, in His perfect way and timing.

One thing that has helped others in a long season like this is to keep a simple, sustainable rhythm, continuing to bring your wife and family to God each day, staying rooted in your own walk with Him, and staying connected to a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you both and can walk with you personally. It helps keep prayer from becoming only striving, and keeps your heart guarded and hopeful as you wait on the Lord.

Father, we thank You for Your kindness and patience and for hearing every prayer lifted in Jesus' name. We ask You to continue Your work in this wife's heart and in each person this brother has been praying for, drawing them toward truth, humility and life in You. Keep him and his loved ones from evil and give him wisdom, peace and strength for each day. We trust them into Your caring hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and it is good that you cast your burden upon the Lord who is perfect and patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. You have done well to thank Him that His Word does not return void, but as the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth, so His Word accomplishes the purpose for which He sent it. The seed is the Word of God, and you have planted and others have watered, but it is God alone who gives the increase. From Him and through Him and to Him be all glory.

Take comfort in this, that the goodness of God leads to repentance. The Lord does not drive men as Cain was driven, but He draws with cords of love. The sweetest and best repentance is that which comes not by driving but by drawing. His goodness to you and to your wife, in so many forms and ways, is meant to lead to repentance. Yet remember that there are many false kinds of repentance. Judgment may produce a carnal repentance which is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature, a repentance that trembles for a time and shows a complacency toward the Word, and yet is not a repentance unto life. Scales are given to us whereby we may weigh our repentance. True repentance, which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

You ask that the Lord would continue to work upon your wife's heart and bring fresh truth and restrain evil and carry on any work He has begun until the day of Christ. Know that repentance is to be preached in the name of Jesus, not after the manner of Moses or of John as a preparation only, but as the gift of God. Where there is true repentance, that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, there is full and free remission of sins. Faith and repentance are inseparable. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart go together. The repentance which purges the soul from dead works and the faith that fills the soul with living works are never divided. Take heed not to put your repenting into the place of Christ, but let your repentance lead you to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only. A repentance which makes you weep and abhor your past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and which makes you avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for you, is saving repentance.

You may know whether repentance is practical by this test, does it last or does it not, and does it yield works meet for repentance. Repentance lives as long as faith. It is not a bitter thing to be gotten through as an operation and then forgotten, but sweet sister Repentance is charming company and abides with us till we enter glory. The truest repentance is that of a man who is just entering heaven, therefore do not require in yourself or in another an absolutely perfect or fully developed sorrow at the first, but look for the germ which will grow and increase as God works.

There is hope for restoration, as you have seen in Peter. His was not a continuance in sin without repentance for months as with David, but the quick speech of a man carried away by sudden temptation followed by a speedy repentance when the Lord turned and looked upon him. That look severed Peter from the crowd and his heart dissolved in streams of bitter, salutary, saving repentance. If the Lord grants such a look, the heart will break and be restored. He prays for His own that they may be turned again and then strengthen their brethren. So pray that your wife and your household, your patriarchal and matriarchal figures and your progeny and posterity, may come to their senses as Nebuchadnezzar did when he was humbled, as the prodigal did when he came to himself, and as Hosea's wife when hedged in, for before honor comes humility.

Continue to pray fervently, for the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit and judging the thoughts and intents of the heart, and the Father is always working even until now. The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord, as when He ordered Philip to the chariot of the man reading Isaiah, and Ananias to Saul, and Paul to Macedonia. He can order others across her path to water the seed and speak truth and show kindness. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, and the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. We join you in asking that He would keep you all from evil, from deception and temptation and the evil one, and cause you to receive the love of the truth that you may be saved, and that He would do great and mighty things beyond all you can ask or imagine, to the praise of His glory in Christ Jesus, in whose name every promise is Yes and Amen.
