🕊️Kindness of God Lead to Repentance, Respect, Godliness w/ Contentment, 1 Tim 6:6, Honesty, Listening to Pastors, Mothering, Trembling at His Word

Beloved of All
Father, thank You for 5 minutes, then 2 minutes, its a little bit back -- please let her answer questions I ask that our youngster can't understand, allowing not only our conversation to continue with one to young for words, and letting respect to be shown to both parents, Ex 20:12. Please silence her mouth whenever she wants to badmouth me in front of him in order to further her lies by attempting to diminish my character, Ezek 3:26, Ps 137:6, Luke 1:20.

I have always had him respect her, no ignoring or running away from mommy... Please help her understand she is injuring him more than me, and herself more than anything, Jeremiah 7:19. Whatever she does to the least of Jesus brethren is the same as doing to Christ, Matthew 25:40 -- and -- “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?” Acts 9:4...

Kindness of God Leads Wife to Repentance, Rom 2:4, from darkness to light, from satan to God, Acts 26:18, to Godliness with Contentment, 1 Tim 6:6, Honesty, Listening to Pastors, Mothering, Trembling at His Word, "This is what the LORD says: “This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My Word," Isaiah 66:2.

Thank You that Your Word does not return void, but finishes the job You sent it to do, Isaiah 55:10-11. The seed is the Word of God, and seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14-29.

Please continue working on my wife's heart by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil 2 Thes 3:7, and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6.

CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last 15 Months, especially for her, those down south, in Asia, her family, my mom and dad figures, the progeny and posterity, and keep us all from temptation, sin, evil, Matt 6:13, Jn 17:15, deception, Matt 24:4, false teaching, Rev 12:9-10, lies, sin and fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2-3. 🙌 Thank You in Jesus’ Name,Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

The Dawn of Revival; or, Prayer Speedily Answered
Prayer that is earnest and persistent brings immediate answers and deepens our trust in God.
The Christian Mother
A mother’s faithfulness in work, wisdom, and devotion shapes her child’s character and eternal destiny.
To Mothers
A mother’s godly life shapes her children’s faith and future more than any other influence.
We join you in thanking God for even those small steps forward, for five minutes and then two minutes where conversation was possible again, and we agree with you that this is the Lord at work and that He is able to do far more. We hear your heart for your marriage and for your young child who is too young for words, and we stand with you for the restoration and healing of your family.

We affirm with you that marriage is a holy covenant before God between a man and a woman for life, and that God hates the breaking of that covenant. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6. Your desire to see your wife come to repentance, to godliness with contentment, 1 Timothy 6:6, to honesty, to faithful mothering, and to a heart that trembles at His Word, Isaiah 66:2, is a godly desire and we pray with you for it. We also rejoice that you are teaching your child to honor his mother and not to ignore or run from her, for this is obedience to the command, Honor your father and your mother, Exodus 20:12, and Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right, Ephesians 6:1. You are doing right to model respect for her even when it is painful, and we encourage you to continue in that, for children are a heritage of the Lord, Psalm 127:3, and what they see in the home shapes their understanding of love and truth.

We also want to gently encourage you as you ask God to silence her mouth when she would speak against you in front of your child. We understand the deep hurt of being badmouthed and having your character diminished before your own son, and the Word indeed says, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear, Ephesians 4:29. Yet we pray not only for her lips to be restrained, but for her heart to be transformed, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, Matthew 12:34. The kindness of God indeed leads to repentance, Romans 2:4, and we pray that the Lord would so work in her heart that she would have no desire to tear down, but would speak truth in love, Ephesians 4:15. And we exhort you in the same way to guard your own heart and tongue against bitterness or resentment, and to be never repaying evil for evil, but always pursuing what is good, 1 Thessalonians 5:15, and to love your wife as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them, Colossians 3:19, and live with your wife in an understanding way, 1 Peter 3:7, even when she is not yet responding as she should.

We agree that she is injuring herself and her child more than anyone when she walks in dishonesty or dishonor, as it is written, Do they provoke me to anger says the Lord, Do they not provoke themselves, to the confusion of their own faces, Jeremiah 7:19. And we agree that how we treat the least of Christ's brethren, including a helpless child and a covenant spouse, is how we treat Christ Himself, Truly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me, Matthew 25:40, and Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me, Acts 9:4. May the Lord give her eyes to see this and a humble and contrite spirit.

We take comfort with you that the Word of God does not return void, but it accomplishes what He pleases, Isaiah 55:11, and that the seed is the Word of God, Mark 4:14, and many seeds have been planted and watered. We pray that God will continue the good work He has begun until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6, that He will bring fresh truth, restrain evil, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and keep you all from temptation and deception and false teaching, for we know the whole world lies in the power of the evil one, 1 John 5:19, and that He would keep your family from evil, John 17:15, and deliver you from evil, Matthew 6:13.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your throne, John 14:6, and in whom all Your promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20, we thank You for Your mercy and for every small sign of Your hand in this home. We ask for Your kindness to lead this dear wife from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, Acts 26:18, that she may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith. Grant her repentance, godliness with contentment, honesty, a listening ear to godly pastors, a nurturing heart as a mother, and a spirit that trembles at Your Word. Soften her heart where it has been hard, heal where there is wounding, and remove deception and lies. Let no corrupt word come from either husband or wife, but only what builds up. Protect this precious child, who is too young for words, from confusion and hurt, and let him see honor shown to both father and mother, that he may grow in security and truth. Give this husband continued patience, gentleness, wisdom, and strength not to grow weary in doing good, Galatians 6:9, and help him to walk in love and forgiveness even as Christ forgave us, Ephesians 4:32. Bring faithful people across her path and his path to water the seed of the Word, to speak truth with kindness, and to show the grace that leads to repentance. Restrain the evil one and every influence that would lead this family into sin, fear, or falsehood, and keep them in Your truth. We trust You to finish the work You have started, and we ask for the healing and restoration of this marriage for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been as you have carried love for your wife and for your little boy for so long. Fifteen months of praying, planting truth, and hoping for a softening is a long road, and we are thankful with you for the small openings you have seen, even five minutes and then two where conversation could continue.

Your care for your son comes through clearly. You want him to honor both his parents and not be put in the middle of adult hurt. That instinct to protect him from hearing one parent spoken against by the other is good. Even when children are too young for words, they still sense tension, so keeping adult disagreements private is one of the kindest ways to love him well.

Respect grows best when it is mutual. It is built through steady commitment, seeking to understand each other, staying nonjudgmental enough to really listen, and showing warmth even in disagreement. Continuing to model that kind of respect toward your wife in front of your son, even when it is not returned, teaches him security without requiring you to accept being spoken against.

It may help to have one trusted pastor walk with you consistently in the months ahead, someone who knows you both and can help you set a simple agreement about when and how to pause difficult conversations until your son is not present.

Father, we lift this husband, his wife and their little boy to You. Bring peace to their home, guard their son's heart, give this dad wisdom and steadiness, and draw each heart toward Your kindness and truth. Work in ways only You can to bring healing and clarity. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and there is much in it which shows a heart that desires to see God glorified in your home. You have thanked the Lord for small mercies, for five minutes and then two, and this is right, for we are to notice the hand of God in little things as well as great. The Lord who gives a little back is able to give more, and He who has planted the seed is able to make it grow.

You ask above all for that which Scripture calls repentance unto life. Let us remember what true repentance is, for there are many false kinds. A man may tremble and feel some complacency toward the Word and yet not have repentance unto life. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh, produced by judgment or fear, and it does not give God glory. But the repentance which is the work of the Spirit is a holy and heavenly thing. It yields works meet for repentance, it is practical, and it lasts. It does not appear for a season and then vanish, but it abides. Above all, true repentance gives God glory, it makes the sinner own his sin and own that salvation is wholly of grace. And this repentance is not to be put in the place of Christ, but it leads the soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only.

You have prayed that the goodness of God may lead your wife to repentance, and in this you pray according to Romans 2:4. The Lord does not drive men to repentance as a slave is driven with a whip, but He draws them. The sweetest repentance comes by drawing. His goodness, His daily mercies, His restraining of evil, His bringing of fresh truth across the path, these are cords of love by which He leads the heart to be humble and contrite and to tremble at His Word, as Isaiah 66:2 speaks. Remember also that repentance is preached in the name of Jesus, and it is His gift to bestow. We cannot create it in another, but we can ask Him who has ordained that repentance and remission should go together to grant it freely.

You do well to cling to the promise that His Word shall not return void, but shall accomplish that which He pleases. The seed is the Word of God, and seeds have been planted, as you say, by many hands over many months, in your house and far away. Some have sown, others have watered, but God must give the increase. Be patient therefore, and continue in prayer that He who has begun a good work will carry it on until the day of Christ. He is able to restrain evil and to keep from temptation and deception and false teaching, and to guard the little one who is too young for words.

Concerning your child, your desire that both father and mother be honoured according to Exodus 20:12 is honourable. The Lord would have children see respect shown to both parents, and He would have parents not to injure the little ones committed to them. What is done to the least of Christ's brethren is done to Him. Pray that your own speech and conduct may ever set that example of honour, and ask the Lord to guard your home from words spoken in haste or in anger which wound the child more than they wound one another. Ask Him to give you grace to purge the soul from dead works and to be filled with living works, to pull down what is evil by repentance and to build up what is good by faith, for repentance and faith are inseparable.

Take comfort also from Peter. He fell by sudden temptation and by a hasty tongue, yet his Lord looked upon him, and that look melted him to bitter and salutary tears. His fall was not final, for Jesus had prayed for him that his faith fail not, and being restored he was charged again to feed the lambs. So the Lord can restore and can make a fall to be followed by a speedy repentance and a strengthening of others. Repentance lives as long as faith lives. It is not a bitter operation to be gotten through once, but a sweet companion that walks with us all the way to the gates of pearl, keeping us tender before a holy and good and glorious God.

Therefore continue to pray that your wife may be brought from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that she may know godliness with contentment which is great gain, honesty, a willingness to hear faithful pastors, and a true motherly care. Pray that the Lord will bring others across her path to speak truth in kindness, and keep you all from evil. And pray for yourself, that you may be kept humble, that your repentance also may deepen, and that you may show the same kindness of God which you ask to see in her.

May the Lord in mercy look upon you both and upon your child. May He create in each of you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you. May He give that godly sorrow which need not be repented of, which makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His finished work. And may He keep you watching and praying, that when He comes He may find faith and love abiding in your house.

We commend you to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, trusting His goodness to lead to repentance and His grace to preserve to the end.
