Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. We hear your earnest prayer for the heart of this "still current wife," and we join with you in lifting her before the throne of grace. Your reliance on Scripture and the power of God’s Word is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in believing that the seeds planted will indeed bear fruit in His perfect timing. The verses you’ve shared, Romans 2:4, 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, John 16:8, and Daniel 4:28-37, remind us that God’s kindness leads to repentance, His Spirit convicts, and His sovereignty humbles and restores. We are encouraged by your trust in His ongoing work, and we echo your gratitude that He is always at work, even when we cannot see it.

Yet, we must also address the gravity of the situation with biblical clarity. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). The term "still current wife" suggests a marriage that may be under strain or even facing dissolution. If this is the case, we must rebuke any thought or action that undermines the permanence of this union. God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and He calls us to pursue reconciliation, forgiveness, and restoration, even when it is difficult. If there has been unfaithfulness, whether physical or emotional, it must be repented of and forsaken. If there is hardness of heart, we pray for the Holy Spirit to soften it, for nothing is impossible with God (Matthew 19:26).

We also lift up the husband in this marriage, for he too bears responsibility before the Lord. If he has been neglectful, unfaithful, or unloving, we pray for conviction and transformation. Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the Church (Ephesians 5:25), and this is not a suggestion but a command. If there has been sin in this marriage, whether pride, bitterness, unforgiveness, or sexual immorality, it must be brought into the light and dealt with according to Scripture (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet full of faith in Your power to restore what is broken. We thank You for the marriage covenant You have established, and we ask that You would breathe new life into this union. Lord, we pray for this wife’s heart, that You would soften it, open her eyes to Your truth, and draw her to repentance. Convict her of any sin, whether it be hardness of heart, unforgiveness, or unfaithfulness, and lead her to the foot of the cross where true healing begins.

We pray for her husband as well, Father. If he has failed in his role as a godly husband, convict him, Lord. Show him where he has fallen short, and give him the strength to repent and change. Restore love, trust, and intimacy in this marriage, not as the world defines it, but as You do, with sacrificial love, mutual submission, and unwavering commitment.

We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and ungodly influence in this marriage. We declare that what God has joined together, no man, or spiritual force, shall separate (Matthew 19:6). We pray for godly counselors, mentors, and fellow believers to come alongside this couple, speaking truth in love and watering the seeds of Your Word in their hearts.

Father, we also pray for their family, children, extended family, and future generations. Let this marriage be a testimony of Your grace and power, a light in a dark world. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to destroy marriages and families. Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things new. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

To the one who prayed this request: Do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The battle for this marriage is not yours alone, it is the Lord’s. Continue to stand on His promises, speak His Word over this situation, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If there has been sin in this marriage, encourage repentance and forgiveness, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We have heard your prayer and we join you in thanking God that His Word does not return void but accomplishes that which He pleases, even as the rain and snow water the earth. You have done well to plant the seed which is the Word of God and to ask others to water it, remembering that neither he that plants nor he that waters is anything, but God gives the increase. Yours is to be faithful in sowing and watering, and His is to give life.

We pray with you for that true repentance which is unto life. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, a carnal repentance that trembles for a time and then passes away, but it does not give God glory. The repentance which God accepts is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. It gives God glory, it looks out of self to Christ and to Christ only, it yields works meet for repentance, and it lasts. It is practical and abiding, not a sudden feeling that withers, but a turning that remains. Where there is no such repentance there can be no remission, but where there is this godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, there is full and free forgiveness in the name of Jesus. For repentance is preached in His name as the gift of God, not as a work we offer to earn His favor, and it is never to be put in the place of Christ. We look to Christ to save us and to grant us the repentance He requires.

We are encouraged that you plead the goodness of God which leads to repentance. The Lord does not drive sinners as Cain was driven, but He draws them. The sweetest and best repentance comes not by driving but by drawing, when the heart considers the goodness, patience and longsuffering of God and is melted by His kindness. May the Lord in His mercy bring such a drawing work to your wife and to all those for whom you intercede, to parents and children and to all who have heard the Word in these months. As you have prayed from Romans and from Peter, He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.

We pray also that where humbling is needed the Lord would humble as He humbled Nebuchadnezzar, that those who need to come to their senses may do so as the prodigal did when he came to himself, and as it is written, before honor is humility. Yet we remember that repentance lives as long as faith lives. It is not a bitter operation to be gotten through once at the beginning and then forgotten, but a sweet and abiding companion to faith all our days, making a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His finished work.

Take comfort in the restoration of Peter. He fell by sudden temptation and was soon restored by a look from Christ. That look was altogether between the Lord and Peter, and it dissolved his heart in bitter, salutary, saving repentance. And his restoration was made sure because Jesus prayed for him that his faith should not fail. So we have hope for all who have fallen and wandered, that if the Lord looks upon them they shall weep and return, and being restored they shall strengthen others. He who has begun a good work is faithful to carry it on to completion until the day of Christ.

Therefore we continue to ask the Lord to keep you and your household and your wife and all your posterity from evil, deception and temptation, that you may receive the love of the truth and be saved, and that He would order your steps and theirs as He ordered the steps of the evangelist to the eunuch and of Ananias to Saul. We ask that He would bring faithful witnesses across their paths to speak truth and to show the kindness of God, and that by His Spirit He would convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.

We do not ask God to bless any way that departs from His holy ordinance, for marriage is His institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and dwelling together belongs within it, and salvation is in Christ alone. We ask Him to bless what is according to His will, to work repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ, and where a marriage covenant remains, to bring reconciliation and purity and truth according to His Word. If sin has entered, we pray that it would be forsaken and forgiven, and that what has been broken would be healed in holiness.

Father, we thank You that Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword, judging the thoughts and intents of the heart, and that You are always working even until now. Grant true repentance that gives You glory, faith that looks only to Christ, and hearts that are created clean and renewed in a right spirit. Keep us from evil and cause Your Word to fulfill all Your purpose. We ask this in the name of Jesus, believing that what we ask according to Your will You hear, and that You are able to do beyond all we ask or imagine. Amen.

Your prayer has been received and we join you in giving thanks that the Word of God does not return empty. As the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth, so the Word accomplishes the purpose for which God sends it. The seed is the Word of God, and we thank Him that seed has been planted and watered, trusting that it is God alone who gives the growth.

We agree with you in asking God to continue His work according to His kindness, for it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance. We pray that He will continue to send truth, restrain evil, and carry to completion every good work He has begun until the day of Christ. As you have asked, we ask that He will bring others across her path and across the paths of all who have heard the Word to water what has been planted and to speak truth in love. We remember also that the Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment, and we ask for that gracious convicting work to be done with clarity and mercy. We pray this in confidence that God is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and that He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone, who is the one Mediator between God and humanity and who prevailed with the Father on our behalf when we were estranged.

We also give thanks with you that you are holding fast to the honor of marriage. Marriage is a bond ordained by God, honorable and pure. It is not itself the source of holiness, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith by guarding against union with what is outside the covenant. Scripture teaches that this covenant is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, and that living together and the union of bodies belong within it. If a man is bound to a wife, let him not seek to be loosed. This is the path of chasteness, gravity and order that befits those who belong to Christ. Whether you are together under one roof or separated for a time, the calling remains to live chastely, to keep the body pure, and to preserve the marriage bed in honor, turning away from every form of fornication and impurity which corrupts marriage. This is the profit of marriage, to keep both souls and bodies in fidelity before God.

We hear your prayer for humbling and restoring, and we join you in it, remembering that before honor comes humility. As God humbled Nebuchadnezzar until he lifted his eyes and came to his senses, and as the prodigal came to himself in a distant country, so God in mercy humbles in order to restore. We pray that such humbling would be received with true repentance. Scripture warns that Esau sought the blessing with tears yet found no place of repentance, because his sorrow was not the godly sorrow that leads to life. So we pray not only for tears but for a true turning of heart, a receiving of the love of the truth that saves, and a turning from deception and sin.

Continue therefore in fervent prayer, as one made righteous by faith in Christ. We pray that He will order steps again, protect you and your wife and your children and all your household, your posterity and all who have heard the Word, from evil, deception and temptation, and keep you from the evil one. We pray that you both would be kept in the love of Christ, growing in faith and holiness, whether for reconciliation and restoration within the covenant you have made, or for the strength to walk faithfully before Him whatever He ordains.

Your prayer reflects a deep trust in the power of God's Word and His faithful work in hearts, and that is right and good to bring before Him.

Scripture teaches that the Word God sends out does not return empty but accomplishes what He purposes, like rain and snow watering the earth. The Word is seed, and when it is planted faithfully it can take root and grow. Our part is to plant and to water, but only God gives the growth. That frees you to keep praying and speaking truth in love while trusting Him for the increase in His time.

You are right to ask that the kindness of God would lead to repentance. His kindness is meant to draw people toward Him, and true repentance is more than sorrow over painful consequences. One man in Scripture wept bitterly, but not because he had turned from his sin, he wept because he had lost the blessing. Real repentance turns from sin itself and bears fruit that shows a changed heart and life, a turning that is unto life and not to be regretted. Pray for that kind of work, a genuine turning to the Lord that is seen in new desires and obedience.

It is the Holy Spirit who convicts of sin and righteousness and judgment, and He is able to do what we cannot. God is also patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and He desires all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. When God hedges a way or allows difficulty, it can be His mercy to turn a heart back and to restrain evil. Continue to ask Him to restrain deception and temptation and to protect your wife, your children and extended family, and all who have heard the Word, keeping them from evil and from the lies of the evil one, and drawing them to receive the love of the truth that they may be saved through Jesus Christ alone.

God orders the steps of those who seek Him, and He brings people across our paths to speak His truth at the right moment. Keep asking Him to bring faithful voices into your wife's life to water what has been planted, to speak truth clearly and to show the kindness that reflects Him. Pray also for your whole family line, that each one would hear and respond.

Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and God honors faithfulness and purity within it. The believing presence in a home brings a holy influence that covers children with opportunity and grace, and God calls husbands and wives to show kindness and due care to one another. Ask Him to guard and restore what He has joined, according to His perfect and patient will.
