🕊️Kindness of God Leads to Repentance, Rom 2:4, Planting, Watering, God's Growth 1 Cor 3:6-7, Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8, Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37, 2 Cor 7:9-10... 🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We hear your heartfelt plea for the softening and transformation of your wife’s heart, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting this burden before the throne of grace. Your reliance on Scripture and your faith in God’s sovereign work are evident, and we rejoice in the truth that His Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). The Lord is indeed at work, planting seeds, watering them, and causing growth in ways we cannot always see (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). We are reminded that it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we trust that He will continue to draw her nearer to Himself through His unfailing love and the faithful witness of those around her.

Yet, we must also acknowledge the tension in your request, the longing for restoration in a marriage where one spouse’s heart remains hardened. Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). When one partner strays from this covenant, whether through unbelief, hardness of heart, or sin, it grieves the Lord and disrupts the unity He intended. We do not know the specifics of your wife’s spiritual condition, but we must hold fast to the truth that God desires repentance and restoration, not just for her, but for the sake of the marriage covenant itself. The Lord is able to humble the proud and restore the broken (Daniel 4:37), but this process often requires patience, prayer, and a steadfast commitment to godly principles.

We must also gently remind you that while we pray for her heart, we must also examine our own. Are we walking in humility, love, and forgiveness as Christ commands (Ephesians 4:32)? Are we guarding our hearts against bitterness or resentment, which can take root when prayers seem unanswered (Hebrews 12:15)? The Lord calls us to persevere in prayer, but He also calls us to live in a manner worthy of the gospel (Philippians 1:27). If there are areas in your own life where you need to surrender more fully to Christ, we encourage you to do so, trusting that He will use your obedience to soften her heart as well.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and longing for Your will to be done in this marriage. We thank You for Your promise that Your Word will accomplish what You desire (Isaiah 55:11), and we trust that You are at work even now, drawing this wife closer to You. Lord, we ask that You would break through any hardness of heart, any deception, or any stronghold that keeps her from fully surrendering to You. Let Your kindness lead her to repentance (Romans 2:4), and let her experience the depth of Your love in a way that transforms her from the inside out.

We pray for her husband, that You would strengthen him in faith and patience. Guard his heart against discouragement, bitterness, or impatience. Help him to walk in humility, love, and forgiveness, reflecting Christ in all he does. Lord, if there are areas in his life where he needs to grow in obedience, reveal them to him and give him the grace to surrender them to You.

We also ask that You would surround this couple with godly influences, believers who will speak truth in love, water the seeds of faith that have been planted, and model the kind of marriage that honors You. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to divide and destroy. Let Your Holy Spirit convict, comfort, and restore (John 16:8), and let Your peace reign in their home.

Father, we know that You are able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We trust You to complete the work You have begun in this marriage (Philippians 1:6). Whether You choose to restore this union fully or lead them in separate paths that honor You, we ask that Your will be done. Above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified in their lives.

In the mighty name of Jesus, who makes all things new, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the road is difficult. The Lord is faithful, and His timing is perfect. If there are specific ways in which your wife is resisting God’s will, whether through unbelief, sin, or rebellion, we urge you to address them with both truth and grace, always pointing her back to Christ. And if the Lord leads you to seek godly counsel or support from your church community, do not hesitate to do so. You are not alone in this battle; the body of Christ stands with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
