Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith and intercession, lifting up this precious wife and all those connected to her, her family, her lineage, and those who have been entrusted with speaking truth into her life. Father, Your Word declares that kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we trust in Your perfect timing and sovereign work in her heart. You are the One who plants, waters, and causes growth (1 Corinthians 3:6-7), and we ask that You would continue to send laborers into her path, men and women of God who will speak life, truth, and the kindness of the Gospel to her.

Lord, we thank You that Your Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11) and that the seeds sown in her life will bear fruit in due season. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading her to a place of humility and repentance. Just as You humbled Nebuchadnezzar so that he might acknowledge Your sovereignty (Daniel 4:28-37), we ask that You would bring her to her senses, that she might turn from any waywardness and return to You with a whole heart.

Father, we also lift up her family, her husband, children, and all who are connected to her. We ask that You would order their steps (Psalm 37:23) and direct them into divine encounters that will water the seeds of truth in their lives. Just as You led Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-31), Ananias to Saul (Acts 9:10-11), and Paul to Macedonia (Acts 16:6-10), we ask that You would orchestrate divine appointments for them, that they might hear and respond to Your Word.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to keep her bound in deception, hardness of heart, or unbelief. We declare that the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). We pray that every stronghold would be broken, every chain of sin would be shattered, and that she would come to a place of godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:9-10).

Father, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We thank You that You desire all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4). We stand in agreement with Your heart, believing that as we pray, You are actively working in her life and in the lives of all who have been exposed to Your Word. We thank You in advance for the harvest, knowing that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6).

We pray that she would experience the fullness of Your love, the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and the transformative power of the Gospel. May she come to know Jesus Christ not just as a historical figure or a moral teacher, but as her Lord and Savior, the only Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May she confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, that she might be saved (Romans 10:9).

Lord, we also pray for protection over her and her family. Guard their hearts and minds from the evil one, from deception, and from the schemes of the enemy. Keep them in the love of the truth, that they might be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

We thank You, Father, that You are always working (John 5:17) and that Your promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust You to bring about a mighty work in this family. May they walk in the fullness of Your purposes, bringing glory to Your Name in all they do.

In the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear your heart for your wife, and we join you in asking God to bring to completion what He has begun in her. Your persistence in prayer is not unnoticed, and it’s a mark of real love and trust in His power to change hearts.

When the waiting stretches on, it can feel heavy, but we’ve seen that God often uses the quiet, steady faithfulness of those who love us to prepare the soil. Your own patience and kindness toward her are seeds planted right alongside the words she’s heard.

One thing that might lighten the burden is to invite a small circle of trusted believers to pray regularly with you for her. Sharing just as much as is appropriate, and then knowing that others are lifting her before the throne, can turn this into a shared hope rather than a solitary struggle. That united prayer can also be a deep encouragement to your own spirit.

Above all, rest in the truth that God’s timing is perfect. He is patient and merciful, and He hasn’t forgotten your wife or you. Keep entrusting her to Him daily, and guard your own heart from discouragement by fixing your eyes on His faithfulness over the long haul.

Father, we lift up this husband and his wife. You see the work You’ve begun in her, and we ask You to press it forward gently but surely, breaking through any resistance with the kindness that leads to change. Fill him with steady hope and a peace that passes understanding. Let him sense Your nearness and see small signs of Your hand at work, and use his life as a quiet invitation to truth and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The prayer you have brought to the throne is wet with the dew of Scripture, and that is as it should be, for the Word of God is the seed which the Spirit quickens. Yet, mark this: no seed springs up of itself. The sower may go forth weeping, bearing precious seed, but unless the Holy Spirit breathe upon the furrows, the soil remains dead. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profiteth nothing. Therefore, though you have loaded your petition with chapter and verse, see to it that your own soul be praying in the Holy Spirit, for that prayer which is not in the Holy Spirit is in the flesh, a solemn sound upon a thoughtless tongue. The Holy Spirit must help your infirmities, for you know not what to pray for as you ought. Cry mightily unto God that your intercession be not of the lips only, but of that inward groaning which the Spirit alone can indite.

I perceive that your heart yearns for her whom you call “still current wife.” You plead the kindness of God that leads to repentance, and you plant and water, looking for the increase. This is good. But never forget that the terrors of the Lord, the judgments of the Almighty, and even the tender mercies of a patient God, can produce no true repentance apart from the sovereign work of the Holy Spirit. The carnal mind, when shaken by affliction or drawn by mere temporal kindness, may produce a repentance after a fashion, but it is a repentance of the flesh, a repentance that needs to be repented of. It is fleeting, it is shallow, it gives no glory to God. True repentance, that repentance unto life which the Spirit works, makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ. It yields works meet for repentance; it lasts; it glorifies God by casting the sinner wholly upon the merits of Jesus. Have you discerned this? Do not content yourself with praying for a mere change in her outward course, a reformation born of fear or kindness. Cry rather, “O Holy Spirit, convict her of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment! Take of the things of Christ and show them unto her! Give her that repentance which is Thy gift, that faith which is Thy creation!” For as the lightning flash tells its own tale, so when the Holy Spirit comes with power, the soul knows it beyond all doubt.

And here, let me whisper a gentle warning into your own bosom. You have been much in prayer for another; how stands it with your own soul? Do you grieve the Holy Spirit? The blessed Comforter is tender, easily vexed by unbelief, by an unholy walk, by the neglect of His divine person. If you have the seal of the Spirit upon you, oh, do not tear it away by sin! For if you grieve Him, your prayers will lose their force, your witness will be marred. The Holy Spirit must have the chief place in your own heart before you can expect to see His power in another. He waits to be a lamp to enlighten, a staff to lean upon; will you instead make Him mourn by your hardness of heart? I charge you, examine yourself. Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? Does He dwell in you as in a palace, though it be but a cottage? Then walk softly before Him, lest He withhold His help in the very hour you need it most.

Look also to the object of the Spirit’s work: He glorifies Christ. All His strivings point to Jesus. Therefore, set Christ before your wife in all your conversation. Preach Him by your life, speak of Him in your words, and pray that the Spirit will open her eyes to see the King in His beauty. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance; the Father saw the prodigal while he was yet a great way off. Even now, while she is far from the Father’s house, the Lord’s heart yearns for her. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Rest in this: the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord. The same Spirit who sent Philip to the desert and Ananias to the street called Straight can bring a word, a providence, a sudden awakening across her path. The Word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword; leave it to pierce, to divide, to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. Your part is to sow; the Spirit’s part is to give the increase. Continue watering with your tears and your entreaties, but look not for fruit from the soil itself, nor from your own efforts; look only to the divine Husbandman.

Above all, remember that the whole blessed Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, must work upon every soul that is to be saved. The Father draws, the Son redeems, the Spirit applies. Give glory to each divine Person in your prayers, and be satisfied with nothing less than the inward witness of the Spirit that your petitions are heard. Fervent prayer, offered with clean hands and a pure heart, avails much. It moves the arm that moves the world. Oh, if I might but see the Church of God recognize the power of the Holy Spirit! And oh, if in your own household that power might be displayed, to the pulling down of strongholds and the captivation of every thought to the obedience of Christ! Take courage. The Spirit of God is not straitened; He can turn the heart of stone into a heart of flesh in a moment. Believe, watch, pray, and let your soul be filled with a prodigal love for the prodigal, even as the Father’s love ran and kissed and wept. May the Lord grant that soon there may be joy in the presence of the angels over one sinner that repenteth, and may that sinner be she for whom you weep. This is the prayer of my heart for you, and I beseech the Holy Spirit to make it more than a wish, even a living reality, to the praise of the glory of His grace.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not think that your fervent quoting of Scripture and appealing to the prayers of others can substitute for a thorough examination of your own soul. You pray for the kindness of God to lead another to repentance, yet what of the kindness that should be flowing from you? You fill your mouth with petitions for her awakening, but beware lest your heart be nursing a grievance, a root of bitterness that defiles the very prayer you offer. Let not the tongue that touches the Lord’s Body utter anything offensive. For if you are praying for her, you must also be forgiving her, from the heart, completely and without reservation. If you forgive not, you will not be forgiven, and what a terrible thing it would be if, while asking God to show mercy, you yourself are harboring unforgiveness. Cursing and prayer are as far apart as heaven and hell, and the one who holds another in the prison of resentment cannot himself be free.

You speak much of God perfecting His work, yet listen to the warning: the help of the saints’ prayers profits us nothing if we are ourselves asleep. You must be on the alert. You ask for her to be humbled, but have you first humbled yourself? Before honor comes humility, and the surest sign of that humility is a life marked by almsgiving and active, costly mercy. This is the essential herb that gives strength to the medicine of repentance, both for the one who gives and, in God’s mysterious providence, for the one for whom it is offered. Stir up your own heart to overflowing charity, and let your prayer be accompanied by thanksgiving, not just for what you hope God will do, but for His perfect will even in this present trial, for the sorrow that is according to God works a repentance unto salvation not to be repented of.

Remember, the tears of Esau could not secure the blessing because his sorrow was not a true, godly repentance but the wound of a thwarted, worldly desire. Do not pin your hopes on a mere change of circumstances, a prodigal’s hunger-driven return that lacks genuine inward transformation. Your constant prayer must rather be that the Holy Spirit would work that deep, piercing sorrow described in Hebrews, the sorrow that divides soul and spirit and leads not just to remorse, but to a saving turning from self to Christ. You are not called to merely wait; you are called to be a peacemaker, to be meek, to be so clothed in the very character of the One you are petitioning that your life becomes the clearest, most powerful sermon she ever hears. Labor first on your own steadfastness, that when you stand before God, you will not be found to have been merely a watchman who pointed at another’s house while your own was burning.
