🙇🏻 Kindness Leads to Repent Rom 2:4 Planting Watering God's Growth 1 Cor 3:6-7 Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8 Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37 2 Co 7:9-1

🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We lift this heartfelt prayer to our Heavenly Father, acknowledging the deep concern for this wife’s heart and the desire for repentance, restoration, and God’s perfect work in her life. Your prayer reflects a beautiful reliance on Scripture and the sovereignty of God, trusting in His kindness to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4) and His faithfulness to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we thank You for the seeds of truth that have been planted in her life and in the lives of all who have heard Your Word. We ask that You would continue to water those seeds through the faithful witness of believers, the conviction of the Holy Spirit (John 16:8), and the humbling work that only You can do (Daniel 4:37). Lord, we pray that pride would be broken, hearts would be softened, and that she, and all who are far from You, would come to their senses as the prodigal son did (Luke 15:17), turning back to You in true repentance.

We also pray for protection over this family, their progeny, and all who are connected to them. Guard their hearts from deception, lies, and the schemes of the evil one (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). May they walk in the righteousness that comes from faith, and may their steps be ordered by You (Psalm 37:23). We ask that You would restrain evil and bring forth godly influences in their lives, those who will speak truth in love and demonstrate the kindness of God that leads to repentance.

Lord, we are grateful that Your Word is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit. We trust that You are working even now, as You always are (John 5:17), and that Your patience means salvation for many (2 Peter 3:9). We thank You for the promise that fervent, righteous prayers avail much (James 5:16) and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We also take this moment to rebuke any hardness of heart, rebellion, or unbelief that may still linger. If there is any unrepentant sin, whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, or a refusal to submit to Your will, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant the grace to turn away from it. If this wife or anyone connected to her is clinging to sin rather than surrendering to Christ, we pray for a spirit of conviction and a deep hunger for righteousness.

Father, we declare that salvation belongs to You alone (Jonah 2:9), and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved (Acts 4:12). If there is anyone in this situation who has not yet placed their trust in Christ, we pray that they would do so without delay. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9), being born again by the Spirit (John 3:3).

We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your patience, and Your love that never fails. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this family, their descendants, and all who are connected to them experience the fullness of Your restoration, Your peace, and Your presence. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in this, brother. The weight of longing for a spouse's turning, waiting, speaking only the truth, then waiting more, is something we don't pretend is easy. We hear in your words a heart that has soaked itself in Scripture, and while you already know God's promises, sometimes the simplest encouragement is what our weary souls need most: you are not alone, and your prayers are precious to Him.

What you're asking for is the deep, durable kind of repentance, not a flash of regret that fades, but a genuine change of direction that only the Holy Spirit can work. That often unfolds more like a slow sunrise than a lightning bolt. The kindness you continue to show, even when your wife cannot yet receive it, is not wasted. It waters seeds already planted. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do in a season of waiting is simply refuse to become the pushy voice of guilt, and instead be a quiet, safe presence. That doesn't mean ignoring the truth; it means letting the truth land in its own time, carried by the kindness you're already extending.

While you wait, we'd gently encourage you to guard your own soul. Long intercession like yours can drain you, and it's easy to become hypervigilant, watching for the first sign of change and despairing when it doesn't come. Give yourself permission to entrust her fully into the Father's hands each day, not as a passive act, but as a deliberate release. He is patient, unwilling that any perish. He has not forgotten your wife, and He has not forgotten you.

Let's pray.

Father, thank You that You are at work even when we cannot see it. We ask for Your godly sorrow to grip this woman's heart, leading her not into shame but into a true, life-changing turn toward You. In the meantime, wrap her husband in Your peace that passes understanding. Sustain his hope, protect his mind from despair, and help him to rest in Your timing. We trust You with all of it, the timing, the softening, the outcome. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is well that you bring these Scriptures before the throne, laying hold of the promises with a fervent grip. The concatenation of texts you weave is a strong chain let down into the depths. You do right to plead the kindness of God that leads to repentance, and to look for the Spirit's work of conviction. Yet remember well what that kindness is: it is not a soft indulgence that leaves the sinner at ease, but the revelation of the bleeding, dying love of Christ. The terrors of judgment may break the crust of a hard heart with a carnal sorrow, but it is a sight of the crucified Savior, set forth by the Holy Spirit, which melts the soul into gospel repentance. That alone is repentance unto life, which springs from looking on Him whom we have pierced. Pray therefore that this one may not merely feel the restraints of Providence, the hedged-up path and the brought-to-nothing of her own devices, but that the Spirit may take of the things of Christ and show them to her heart, tearing away every veil.

You speak of planting and watering, and rightly give all the increase to God. We are but the basket that carries seed; the Spirit alone can thrust the plow deep and break the fallow ground. When a soul is brought very low, when the husks of the far country become bitter in the mouth, there is often a preparatory work. But do not mistake the stirring of the mental powers or the alarm of conscience for the new birth. The Spirit does not merely polish the old nature; He creates a new heart. He does not lend new powers to the flesh; He begets a new spirit within. Cry mightily for this. It is not enough that she is humbled in the dust like Nebuchadnezzar with his reason taken away, unless she also lifts her eyes to heaven and her understanding returns to bless the Most High. Worldly sorrow brings death; it is the grief of pride wounded, the vexation of a liberty curtailed. Only the Holy Spirit working with the word can produce that tender, holy, lasting sorrow which hates the sin because it is against a gracious God.

Guard yourself, then, against a false peace in this matter. It is easy to thank God in advance for a full harvest simply because the blade is seen, but many a hopeful verdure in the wheat-field turns out to be but grass. True prayer in the Holy Spirit pleads with unutterable groans but also watches with a holy jealousy over the soul prayed for. Mark if the repentance is practical, if it renders to God His glory by a clear confession of Christ alone, and if there is a taking of the lowest place without murmuring. That is the Spirit's seal. The Spirit does not glorify human resolve, nor merely make sin bitter, but makes Christ precious. When the soul that was careless can say, "I abhor myself, but He is altogether lovely," then you have what the Spirit alone can give. Continue therefore in this prayer, but be not content with anything short of a distinct and divine change. Press through the crowd of outward hopes to touch the hem of His garment, for without the conscious reception of the Holy Spirit, there is no life.
