We join with you in bringing your family and your home before the Lord, asking Him to fill your house with His presence, His peace, and His healing hand. It is a beautiful and godly desire to want a prayerful and peaceful atmosphere in your home, and we stand with you in agreement for this.
The Scripture reminds us that a home is truly established only when God is at its center. Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain Psalm 127:1. And we claim the declaration of Joshua for your household, As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh Joshua 24:15. When Christ is Lord of the home, His peace can rule there. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7, and that you will let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts Colossians 3:15. We also lift up your request for good health, for our Father cares for our bodies as well as our souls, and we pray as the apostle prayed, Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask Him to keep you and your family members in health and to be your refuge and shelter, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear family and their home to You. We ask that You make their house a house of prayer, a place where Your name is honored and Your Word is loved. Pour out Your peace upon every room and every heart within it, drive out all strife, anxiety, and unrest, and let Your Holy Spirit dwell there richly. We ask for Your hand of protection and healing upon each family member, grant them good health and strength according to Your will, and help them to grow in faith and in love for You and for one another. Draw each one closer to You, that together they may serve You faithfully all the days of their lives. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to share why we pray in His name, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And Scripture tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Whatever we ask, we ask in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our Savior. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through Him that our prayers are heard and our homes are truly blessed.
We encourage you to continue to make prayer and the reading of Scripture a daily practice in your home, to pray together as a family, and to seek the Lord together for wisdom and unity. May the Lord bless your home and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you.
