Kinda worried.

Servant
Lord Jesus a few days ago I posted a prayer about someone I like and have liked for a long time now. Today lord I have found out that has been in the hospital with kidney stones. Lord I know worry is wrong and it is a sin to worry forgive me Lord. But I still do because this someone I care about. I believe with all of my heart she will be just fine. I believe you will resolve the stones and the pain she is dealing with will go away. I believe Lord that you will make away for us and we will be together. I believe that your will be done in this in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We hear your heart in this and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord Jesus together. We are touched by your care for this young woman and your desire to trust the Lord with both her health and your feelings for her.

We want to speak gently to what you shared about worry. It is true that the Lord calls us not to live in anxiety, but to bring everything to Him in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 says do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Feeling concern for someone you care about is not beyond His grace, but He invites us to turn that concern into prayer and to rest in His care. We thank Him that you have already come to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. And John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rejoice that you have come in that precious name.

We also want to encourage you regarding this young woman you have liked for a long time. Your desire to be together with her is understandable, and we pray with you that the Lord's will be done. At the same time we want to lovingly remind you that our faith must rest not in our own desired outcome but in surrender to what God knows is best. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Romans 8:28 says we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Rather than claiming that God will make a way for you to be together as a certainty, we encourage you to pray that if it is His will, He would open a door for a godly courtship that leads toward marriage, and if not, that He would give you peace and guide both of your hearts.

We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we encourage you to view this interest not simply as liking someone or being in a relationship, but as prayerfully considering courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have. If she is a believer, we pray the Lord would help you both to honor Him, to keep your courtship pure and to flee from fornication, for 1 Corinthians 6:18 says flee sexual immorality, and Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. Even now while you care from a distance, we encourage you to pray for her as a sister in Christ, to show kindness and respect, and to trust God with the timing and the future.

We lift her up now for healing. We know kidney stones bring great pain, and our Lord is compassionate and able to heal. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. James 5:15 says and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You that You see this young woman in the hospital and You know the pain and distress of these kidney stones. We ask for Your merciful healing hand upon her body, that You would dissolve or remove these stones, ease her pain, restore her health, and comfort her heart. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for her and give peace to her family and to all who love her. Lord, we also lift up this dear one who has brought this request, who cares deeply for her. Calm his anxious thoughts and replace worry with Your perfect peace. Help him to cast every care on You and to trust Your good and perfect will. If it is Your will, we pray You would guide them into a godly courtship that honors You and leads toward a Christ centered marriage, kept pure and holy before You. If it is not Your will, give him grace to accept Your direction and to continue to walk faithfully with You. Above all, let Your will be done in both of their lives, and draw each of them closer to Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for sharing this update with us. We can hear how much you care about her, and it makes sense you would feel worried hearing she is in the hospital with kidney stones. Caring about someone and wanting her pain to ease is a kind and natural response.

We appreciate your honesty about feeling torn between trusting God and still feeling concern. Bringing both your hope and your worry to Him honestly is a good place to be. You do not have to hide how you feel in order to trust Him.

We are joining you in prayer for her healing and comfort while she receives care, and for wisdom for the doctors and nurses looking after her. We are also praying for peace for you as you wait, and for clear guidance for both of you in the days ahead according to His will.

A gentle next step that may help while she recovers is to keep your support simple and respectful of her space. If you have an appropriate way to reach out, a brief, kind note letting her know you are praying for her, without expecting a reply, is enough. Then allow her and her family time to focus on rest and healing. When worry rises, turning that moment into a short prayer can be a steady way to place her back in God's hands and then return to what is in front of you.

Father, we lift this young woman to You and ask for Your mercy over her body, for relief from pain and for healing as she is cared for in the hospital. Give her rest and strength. Give our friend peace as he waits and wisdom to care well and to follow Your leading. In Jesus' name, amen.

It's a small chance that something bad will happen, plus if she's in hospital they have it sorted😁 I pray that you stop worrying! I pray that you get to have a good relationship with her! amen!

Your care for this young woman in her affliction has been heard, and it is right that you have brought it before the Lord in prayer. You confess that worry has pressed upon you, and you rightly see that anxious thought dishonors the Father who governs all things. Yet there is grace for such infirmity, for it is God's prerogative to forgive and He delights to exercise it, and when we ask for pardon in the name of Christ He grants it freely.

You believe that the Lord will remove these stones and take away her pain, and that He will make a way for you to be together. Here we must gently counsel you to suit your heart to Providence and be resigned to the will of God. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. It is foolish for any of us to say we will go and we will do and we will obtain as we desire, as though we could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. We must always feel, if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that. Try as you may, you cannot alter God's Providential arrangements, so it is better that you should be altered so as to suit the Providence.

We will not ask God to bless a desire simply because it is strong in us, for His revealed will must not be violated, and our best profit will consist of doing His will. What you have to do is your business with God, to do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with Him. The work of the Spirit is to change the human will and make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will to do of His own good pleasure. Pray therefore not that your will be done, but that His will be done in you and in her.

For her sickness, we may pray with confidence that the Lord is merciful and mighty to heal. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed upon His people. He has pardoned, He does pardon, He will pardon, and His healing virtue will work health and cure till we shall be without spot. Until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul in health. Cast your burden upon Him, He will bear it, open your heart before Him, He will heal it. We will pray that the Lord in His mercy would relieve her suffering from these kidney stones, give wisdom to those who care for her, and restore her to health if it be His gracious will, and that He would keep her and you in His preserving grace.

Go then and do the right thing before Him. Confess Christ and act for the right and the true, and by the aid of His blessed Spirit never hesitate to do as He bids you. Leave this dear one in the hands of Him who will come to our deliverance in the time of trouble and will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. Trust not in your own believing that a thing must be so, but trust in the living Christ through whom alone is salvation, and rest in this, that He will have mercy upon whom He will have mercy, and His will shall stand.

We pray that the Lord would forgive your worry, quiet your heart, heal this young woman according to His perfect wisdom and compassion, and conform your desires to His holy and revealed will, that you may find peace not in having your way, but in having His way fulfilled in you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
