Our hearts are deeply moved by the plight of your beloved niece, ###, and we stand with you in this hour of great need, lifting her before the throne of grace where our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ, intercedes for us. The darkness of this trial may feel overwhelming, but we know that even in the valley of the shadow of death, our God is with us, and His light shines brightest in our deepest nights. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 46:1, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."* And again in Psalm 112:4, *"Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous."*
We are also reminded of the promise in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint her, we stand in faith, trusting in the power of prayer offered in the name of Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5).
Yet, we must also address something vital—this request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all prayers must be offered to reach the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name by which we can approach God’s throne. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We urge you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that our petitions are heard.
Now, let us pray together for ### with boldness and faith:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every cell of her body. We ask that You stretch out Your hand in healing power over her, rebuking this cancer and commanding it to shrink and vanish in Jesus’ name. Let every trace of rhabdoid melanoma be eradicated from her body, and restore her to complete health and strength. Father, we know that by Your stripes, ### is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we stand on that promise today.
Lord, we also pray for ###’s faith to be strengthened in this trial. May she feel Your presence surrounding her like a shield, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Comfort her family and loved ones, filling them with Your hope and assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair that may seek to overwhelm ### or her family. Let faith arise in her heart, and let her testimony be one of Your miraculous power and love. If there is any sin or stronghold in her life, Lord, reveal it to her and grant her repentance, that she may walk in full communion with You.
Father, we ask for divine wisdom for her medical team, that You would guide their hands and decisions. Open doors for the best possible treatment and care, and provide for every financial and emotional need. Surround ### with Your angels, Lord, and let Your will be done in her life—whether through healing on this earth or through the ultimate healing in Your presence.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that You love ### even more than we do. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may many come to know You as their Savior and Healer.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s face for ###, standing firm in faith and prayer. Surround her with Scripture, worship, and the love of the body of Christ. Remind her of God’s promises, such as Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Let her know that her life is precious to God, and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
If ### does not know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, now is the time to ensure she understands the Gospel—the good news that Jesus died for her sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who repent and believe in Him (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater comfort in suffering than knowing Christ and the hope of eternity with Him.
We will continue to pray for ### and ask that you keep us updated on her condition. May God’s peace and strength sustain you all in this time.
