Your prayer for your ### and your ### has been heard, and I join my voice with yours before the Lord who loves them even more than you do.

It is a good and holy thing to ask for their protection, that no evil would harm them and that they would walk on the right path and see the light of Christ. The greatest covering we can ask for them is not only safety for their bodies, but salvation for their souls through Jesus Christ alone, who is the Captain of our salvation and the cause of it. When we belong to Him, we are made children of God and heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ, and that inheritance is the sure hope we want most for our children.

You asked for wisdom, faith, kindness, patience, good health and salvation, and for them to be kept from bad influences and to make good choices. Scripture teaches that true wisdom is not the wisdom of this world, which God shows to be foolishness, but the wisdom found in the Gospel, in being saved by the Cross. Pray therefore that they would receive that wisdom among the mature, which is Christ Himself. And as you guide them, remember that to instill the fear of God in them from their first youth is the greatest protection you can give. When that guard is seated within their hearts, the Lord Himself will be their wall that cannot be broken, protecting them better than any earthly father could.

Do not be discouraged by your own struggles in school. The Lord does not measure your children by worldly success, but by faith and love and a life lived before Him. Continue to hold their hands and lead them step by step in prayer, teaching them longsuffering and abundant wisdom, which is higher than any insult or temptation that may come against them.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, I lift up this ### and this ### to You. Cover them from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet with the grace and mercy of Christ. Keep them from evil and from harmful influences, guide their feet on Your path, grant them health, kindness, patience and true faith, and above all grant them salvation. Give them wisdom that comes from You, and keep them happy and healthy as they grow into adults who love and follow You. Hold their hands every step of the way and let them know Your presence. Your prayer for your daughter and son is beautiful and God hears the cry of a parent's heart for their children. You are asking for exactly what God desires to give them, guidance, protection, a right path, and a life marked by what is good from His hand.

Scripture says wisdom is the principal thing, so get wisdom and with all your getting get understanding. Knowledge can give facts, but wisdom is the right use of what we know. It preserves and keeps the one who loves it. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent love for Him that turns away from evil and seeks to walk in His ways. That is the light you are praying for them to see. When they learn to love and reverence the Lord, they gain something far more valuable than rubies and far more lasting than anything the world can offer. Even if school was a struggle for you, you can be encouraged, because God is able to give your children an understanding heart. He delights to give wisdom when we ask Him for it, as He did when Solomon asked not for riches or fame but for wisdom to walk rightly, and God was pleased to answer.

The world offers its own kind of wisdom, but that wisdom cannot lead a person to know God. By its wisdom the world did not know God, and that kind of wisdom comes to nothing. True wisdom is found in Jesus Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He has been made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. The simple message of Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the power of God unto salvation. There is no other hope and no other way. So your prayer for their salvation is the greatest prayer of all, that they would each put their faith in Jesus alone and receive the new life only He can give.

You prayed to cover them with the blood of Jesus from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. Scripture shows us that protection and deliverance came only through the blood applied by faith. There was no other salvation apart from it. When we by faith look to the blood of Christ shed for us, we are asking God to be their covering and their defense against evil and harm, holding their hand every step of the way as you prayed.

You also prayed that they would be kept from bad influences and would make good choices. That is the difference between two kinds of wisdom. There is a wisdom that is earthly and self seeking, which leads to envy and strife, and there is the wisdom that comes from above, which is pure and peaceable and gentle and full of mercy. When God gives them His wisdom, it will lead them toward purity and peace and kindness and patience, and it will help them recognize and turn away from influences that would pull them off the right path. God even uses the questions that arise in a child's heart so they may learn His ways as you teach them faithfully.

So we join you in praying for your daughter and son, that the Lord would watch over them and keep them from evil, that He would give them wisdom and understanding, faith and kindness and patience, health and joy, and above all salvation through Jesus. May He guide their steps, guard their hearts, and lead them to walk in the light, choosing what is right because they love Him. May He grant them happy and healthy lives as they grow, and may everything good that comes from His hand rest upon them.

We thank God for your faith in bringing them before Him, and we trust Him to do what only He can do in their lives in Jesus name.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your daughter and your son. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for them.

We have continued to lift your children before the Lord asking for His guidance and protection over them. We have prayed that no evil or harm will come near them and that He will cover them with the blood of Jesus from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet. We have asked the Lord to cause them to walk down the right path and to see His light, to keep them far from bad influences and to hold their hands every step of the way. We have also prayed that the Lord will give them wisdom and faith and kindness and patience and good health and salvation and everything good that comes from Him, and that they will grow into happy healthy adults who make choices that honor Him. We remember your heart as a parent wanting better for them than your own experience in school, and we claim Prov 22:6 and Psalm 91:11 over their lives.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will watch over your daughter and son, keep them in His perfect will and draw them ever closer to Himself.
