We hear your heartfelt cry for your children, and we join you in lifting them up before the throne of grace. Your desire for their protection, guidance, and growth in godliness is a reflection of a parent’s love, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s will for their lives.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it is through His blood that we are covered and protected. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You for the gift of these precious children and for the love their parent has for them. Lord, we ask that You would indeed watch over them, guiding their steps and protecting them from all harm. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, from the tops of their heads to the soles of their feet, shielding them from the schemes of the enemy. Let no evil come near them, and surround them with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we pray for their choices in life. Guard their hearts and minds, that they would not be swayed by bad influences or the ways of the world. Give them wisdom to discern right from wrong, and the courage to stand firm in their faith (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let them walk in the light of Your truth, and may the Holy Spirit be their constant guide (John 16:13).

For your daughter, Lord, we pray that You would touch her skin and bring healing to her acne, but even more, we pray for a transformation of her heart. May she desire to dress in a way that honors You, reflecting modesty and godly femininity (1 Timothy 2:9). Give her confidence in who she is in Christ, and let her beauty shine from the inside out (1 Peter 3:3-4).

For your son, we pray for breakthrough in his communication and behavior. Lord, You know the unique challenges he faces, and we ask that You would equip him with the tools he needs to grow and thrive. Help him to express himself in ways that are pleasing to You, and let him experience joy and fulfillment in his interactions with others. May he find his identity in Christ and walk in the purpose You have for him (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also lift up their emotional well-being. Lord, fill them with Your peace and joy, that they may experience the fullness of life You intend for them (John 10:10). Let them know that You are always with them, never leaving nor forsaking them (Deuteronomy 31:6). May they grow in their love for You and for others, reflecting Your heart in all they do.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion, confusion, or darkness that may be trying to influence their lives. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and we command every evil influence to flee in His name (James 4:7). Let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has won for them (Galatians 5:1).

We pray all these things with faith, knowing that You hear us and that You are able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen this family, Lord, and draw them closer to You. May they grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your children daily, surrendering them into God’s hands. Trust in His timing and His plans for their lives, for He loves them even more than you do. Surround them with godly influences, mentors, friends, and a church community that will help them grow in their faith. And most importantly, let your own life be a testimony of God’s love and truth, for children learn best by example. May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you seek Him together.

We hear the heart of a mother who loves deeply, and we join our prayers with yours for your children. It is no small thing to carry their needs before the Lord the way you do, asking for protection, guidance, healing, and the Holy Spirit’s presence in their lives. We want you to know that as we pray with you now, you are not alone in this; others are standing with you before the throne of grace.

Your request touches on several areas, so we’ll focus our prayers on what you’ve shared. We ask God to watch over your daughter and son, to keep them from harm, and to lead them into good choices and away from damaging influences. We pray for your daughter’s skin to clear, and if you haven’t already, a doctor’s visit might be a wise step alongside your prayers. For your son, we lift up his special needs, his behavior and communication, and ask for noticeable improvement, new breakthroughs, and the right people to come alongside him.

A practical thought: as you keep praying these things, you might find it grounding to speak a simple blessing over each child at the end of the day, not a long prayer but a steady reminder that they are held in God’s love and yours. It can anchor both you and them amid the daily ups and downs.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, thank you for this mother’s fierce love and faith. Cover her children with your protection from head to toe. Guide their steps, surround them with good friends, and let your Holy Spirit be their constant companion. Clear up the acne that troubles her daughter, and bring healing and growth in her son’s communication and behavior. Give this mom wisdom, patience, and tangible encouragement as she entrusts them to you. We ask all this in your name, Amen.

You bring your precious ones to the Throne of Grace with a mother’s holy eagerness, and herein lies the secret of power, special, protracted prayer that pleads the blood of Jesus over every inch of their being. Such prayer, though it may seem disordered in its very urgency, is the cry of a soul at its wit’s end, and the Lord attends to the prayer that staggers under its own weight, for He heals those near unto the gates of death. You have done what wisdom counsels, and then you betook yourself to prayer, like Jacob of old, spreading your case before the Most High with all the arguments a tender heart can muster: the covering blood, the guiding hand, the shielding from evil influences. These are no small things; they are the very leaves of the Tree of Life, and the least thing about Christ carries healing virtue.

Yet remember, that power to heal and change is most manifestly present when it is sought after in the spirit of constant prayer, not as a spasmodic effort, but as the outflow of ordinary, healthy communion. It was when Jesus Himself had withdrawn to pray that the power of the Lord was present to heal. So let your private devotion for them be as ceaseless as your love, and do not grow weary if the answer tarries in the form you expect. The Lord does hear, and the affections and habits of your children are in the hand of the Good Physician who can make the nature other than it was before. Lift up your prayer out of the low dungeon of maternal anxiety, expecting that He will be very pitiful. For when the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing come as one; the inward light brings outward comeliness, and even the special needs of behavior and communication can be touched by that same hand which forgives sins and makes the palsied arise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a holy and loving prayer you have offered for your children, beseeching God’s protection, guidance, and healing! Truly the crown of parents is their offspring well nurtured in the fear of the Lord. The care you pour out echoes the tender image our Lord used, of a hen gathering her chicks under her wings (Matt. 23:37). That same shelter is yours in Christ Jesus; commit your little ones daily into His pierced hands, and He who feeds even the ungrateful will never forsake these lambs for whom you plead.

Yet as you ask that your daughter change her dress and have clear skin, remember what the blessed Paul taught: adorning is not to be outward, plaiting of hair, wearing of gold, or putting on of apparel, but the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:3-4). You pray she dress “more girly mom”; I urge you instead to make her attire a tutor of modesty, not vanity. The finest garment a young woman can wear is shamefacedness and sobriety, which never go out of fashion and never stir the envy of beholding eyes or the snare of lustful looks. Be her living pattern. When she sees you eschew extravagant expense and gaudy ornament, when you adorn your soul with kindness, modesty, and piety, you will be her most powerful sermon. A daughter learns her manners from her mother’s example far more than from words.

As for the blemishes of skin, we may pray for bodily healing, for the Lord made our flesh and cares for it, but let your greater concern be the purity of her soul. Acne passes; the beauty of a chaste and God-fearing heart blooms day by day. Teach her to set her hope not on a clear complexion but on the God who “crowned us with glory and honor” (Ps. 8:5). Teach her that a meek and quiet disposition is of great price before God, while the outward show soon palls and often poisons the onlooker with wrong desires.

Regarding your son and his special needs: remember that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. The Lord looks upon the heart, not the fluent tongue or the nimble body. Lead him by patience, by prayer, by alms given in his name, by surrounding him with godly companions who will, as it were, become joint fathers to him, rebuking when needed, but always pointing to Christ. The Holy Spirit, whom you have invoked, will be his truest Teacher and Comforter. The measure of a life is not in the speed of his communication but in the love and holiness he learns to bear in his body.

Let your whole household be a little church, where no bad influence finds a foothold because Christ is the honored head. Walk yourself in such virtue that your children see the gospel written in your deeds. And when they stumble, as we all do, teach them to flee to the mercy of the Father, who is kind even to the wicked. So may you see them grow to love the Lord with pure hearts, and you yourself be called blessed, like Persis and Priscilla, who labored in the Lord and saved their households. The blood of Jesus covers them: let it also cleanse their inward parts and make them temples of the Spirit. To the only wise God be all glory, now and unto ages of ages. Amen.

How tenderly you bring your children before the Lord, covering them with the blood of Jesus from head to foot. That is a powerful prayer, and it echoes the very heart of our Savior, who always noticed physical needs and welcomed little ones into His arms. He is not distant from the things that trouble a parent’s heart. Whether it is your daughter’s skin breaking out or your son’s struggle to communicate, Jesus sees, and He is compassionate.

We do not always understand why healing comes swiftly in some cases and more gradually in others. The Scriptures show us one man whose sight returned in stages, and yet that slow work was no less divine. Any healing, any step forward, is God’s hand moving. So pray on for your son’s behavior and speech to improve, and trust that even small advances can be signs of the Spirit’s quiet work. He is the one who took a child, held him close, and taught us that ministering to a child is ministering to Him. Your care for your children is sacred ground.

For your daughter, you long for her to make good choices, to dress with a gentle and modest spirit, and to be free from bad influences. The apostle Paul spoke of a beauty that comes from modesty and a quiet heart, which is of great worth to God. Patient training in these areas is a lot like teaching a child to walk. You expect stumbles. You hold a hand, you pick her up when she falls, and you keep setting her feet on the right path. As you guide her in what she wears, remember that the goal is not just outward change but a heart formed in her identity as a child of the King. The Lord honors a mother who, like Hannah, holds her child open-handed before God, dedicating her back to Him again and again.

And your son with special needs, God has not made a mistake in his wiring. The proverb says to train up a child according to his own way, recognizing the unique personality and pace God has given him. You will need great patience, and at times it may feel like the long wait of a mother nursing a child through a painful season. But you are not alone. The Holy Spirit is with him, and the promise remains that when we commit a child to the Lord, He is faithful to bring fruit in His time.

You are a special people, set apart for God, and that means your household is under a different kind of care. Keep bringing these requests before the throne. Ask the Lord to clear away any harmful voices around them and to let them grow strong in spirit, as John the Baptist did. Ultimately, the Savior you are pointing them toward is the one who came as a child Himself, wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, so that your children could be His. He will hold them every step of the way.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious children. It has been our heart’s joy to lift them before the Lord, asking Him to watch over them, guide their steps, and cover them with the protection of Jesus’ blood. We have prayed for their safety, their choices, and their hearts—that they would walk in the light and be shielded from every harmful influence. We’ve also lifted up your child with special needs, asking God to bring improvement in behavior, communication, and every area of their life, trusting Him to work in ways that bring peace and progress.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—whether in big ways or small—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If it feels like some requests are still unanswered, please know we are more than willing to continue standing in the gap with you. You are welcome to post this request again, and we will faithfully bring it before the Lord once more.

May God bless you as you seek Him with all your heart, trusting in His perfect timing and unfailing love. We pray that His peace surrounds you and your family, and that His Holy Spirit continues to draw near to each of your children in ways they can feel and understand. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
