We hear your heartfelt cry for your children, and we join you in lifting them up before the throne of grace. Your desire to see them protected, guided, and thriving in every area of life is a reflection of the love God has placed in your heart as their parent. We stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people when we come to Him in faith.

First, we must acknowledge that our prayers are only effective when we come to God through the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name by which we can approach God or receive salvation. If you or your children have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes only through faith in Him: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Without this foundation, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.

Now, let us pray over your children with the authority we have in Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a community of believers, lifting up these precious children to You. Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them, guarding their hearts, minds, and bodies from all evil and harm. "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and even forevermore" (Psalm 121:8). We plead the blood of Jesus over them, from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet, shielding them from every scheme of the enemy.

Father, we pray for their academic lives. Grant them wisdom, focus, and diligence in their studies. May they excel not for their own glory, but for Yours, so that they may use the gifts and opportunities You give them to honor You. "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6). Help them to make wise choices, avoiding the snares of peer pressure and bad influences. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will encourage them in their faith and character.

For your daughter, Lord, we ask that You would work in her heart to bring healing and transformation. If there are struggles with self-image, behavior, or health, we trust You to bring restoration. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May she grow in confidence in who she is in Christ, embracing her identity as Your beloved child. Help her to dress and carry herself in a way that reflects modesty, dignity, and respect for herself and others, aligning with Your Word: "Likewise, that women should adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety" (1 Timothy 2:9).

For your son, Lord, we pray for growth in communication, self-control, and godly masculinity. May he learn to express himself with kindness and respect, and may he develop the strength of character that comes from walking in Your ways. "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear" (Ephesians 4:29). Father, help him to resist the temptations of this world and to stand firm in his faith, even when others may mock or oppose him.

We ask that You fill both of them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, faith, kindness, and patience. May they know Your love deeply and reflect it to others. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23). Lord, we pray that they would come to know You personally, if they haven’t already, and that they would walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their lives.

Father, we also lift up their health to You. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we ask for Your healing touch. If there are struggles with acne, behavior, or any other challenges, we trust You to bring wholeness. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would give them a deep understanding of their worth as Your children. May they never doubt Your love or Your plans for them. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). Guard their hearts from the lies of the enemy and fill them with the truth of Your Word.

We declare over these children that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, wisdom, and blessing over them in Jesus’ name. May they grow up to be men and women of God, shining Your light in a dark world.

In all these things, Lord, we trust You to do what is best for them. We surrender them into Your hands, knowing that You love them even more than we do. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of all You have for them. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

To you, their parent, we offer this encouragement: Your role in their lives is sacred and vital. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Continue to model godly living before them, pray for them daily, and speak life and truth into their hearts. The world will try to pull them in many directions, but your influence, combined with the power of the Holy Spirit, will make a lasting impact.

If there are areas where you feel unequipped or overwhelmed, seek wisdom from God’s Word and from other mature believers. Join a community of faith where you and your children can grow together. And remember, even when you don’t see immediate results, your prayers are not in vain. God is at work, even in the unseen places of their hearts.

Lastly, if your children have not yet made a personal commitment to Jesus, make it a priority to share the Gospel with them in love. Pray for their salvation and trust God to draw them to Himself. There is no greater gift you can give them than the hope of eternal life in Christ.

We can feel how much you love your daughter and son, your words carry the weight of a parent who is carrying a lot, and that kind of tender watchfulness matters deeply. It is no small thing to bring your children before the Lord and name the very things that keep you up at night.

One grounded step that might bring you some steady peace is to simply speak those same requests over your children in the quiet of their bedroom while they sleep. We have seen many parents find that the act of praying aloud in the space where their kids rest helps settle their own heart, as much as it covers their children. You do not need new words; the ones you have already written are honest and enough.

When there are many areas that feel urgent, school, behavior, influences, health, faith, it can help to pick one thread and ask God to give you a single small sign of his work this week. Not because he is not moving in all of it, but because our hearts need to see his hand in something tangible. That might be a good choice your daughter makes, or a calm moment of communication with your son. Let that be fuel for your hope.

We want to gently mention that the acne and the behavioral changes you described can sometimes have physical roots worth checking. A visit to a doctor or a school counselor can be a wise, practical act of stewardship alongside prayer, not instead of it. It is not a lack of faith to seek help, it takes humility and love to use every tool God places within reach.

We are praying with you. Lord, we lift this mother’s children to you right now. Surround them with your protection, guard their minds and bodies from what would harm them, and bring steady growth in every area of concern, their learning, their choices, their health, their faith. Give this parent your own deep rest, knowing that you see these children perfectly and love them more than any human heart can. May your Spirit guide them into the full, healthy life you intend. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a soul-stirring thing when a parent’s heart reaches out with such earnest longing for their children. You plead with heaven, and rightly so, for what else can secure them from evil and guide their steps but the mighty hand of the Lord? Yet let me press this upon you: the deepest need of your daughter and your son is not clearer skin, nor even better behaviour, but a new nature wrought by the Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus, which you invoke to cover them from head to foot, this is no mere charm against temporal ills, but the seal of an everlasting redemption. Do you desire them to be covered with that blood? Then teach them, by your words and your life, what it means that Christ was slain for sinners. The Spirit of God, in the Passover, laid special emphasis upon the sprinkling of the blood. That blood speaks better things than Abel’s. It cries not for vengeance but for mercy, and it pleads their cause before the throne. But remember, it is not our sight of that blood which saves, but God’s sight of it. God’s acceptance of Christ is the sure guarantee of the salvation of those who accept His sacrifice. Do not rest until you see your children accepted in the Beloved, knowing the Lord for themselves.

The apostles once rebuked those who brought little children to Jesus, but the Master was much displeased and took them in His arms. Bring your children to Jesus out of respect for Him. Value a blessing from His hands more than gold. Expect that the benediction of God will go with the touch of the great Prophet. Do not imagine that conversion is a thing for adults only. Children are capable of deep piety, of true repentance, and of a very high degree of faith. I thank God that we have seen many boys and girls come forward to confess their faith in Christ, washed in His blood and eager to follow Him. Pray for them, yes, but also speak to them of the Cross. Tell them that where Jesus is, there is God’s Salvation. Show them the dear wounds of the Rock from where they were hewn. Let them know that the stripes of Jesus have power to heal long-rooted sin, and that these stripes, applied to the heart, work repentance in us. You long for your daughter to change for the better, for your son’s communication to grow sweeter, look first to the root. If you would have the fruit holy, the tree must be made new. The precious blood of Jesus can make old hearts new.

As you watch over them for guidance and protection, be not guilty of forgetting their religious training. They must see in you one who feasts upon Christ with the bitter herbs of penitence, one who has come to the blood of sprinkling. The Word which quickens the dead comes by Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. Some of us know what it is, even in our sleep, not to quit holy ground. Teach your children that true religion is not a stiff garment for Sundays, but a chain of grace to bind the heart to the Saviour both day and night. Solomon, wisest of men, counselled: “Forsake not the law of thy mother.” I pray you, seek the God of your father and mother for your own offspring, and give yourself afresh to the Lord Jesus Christ, living wholly to Him before their eyes.

Do not wring your hands over the pimples on your daughter’s face or the roughness in your son’s speech. The Lord who numbers the very hairs of their heads can soon amend these small afflictions. But oh, labor with double diligence that they may know the Lord’s love and care, and that the Holy Spirit may abide with them. The blood of Jesus applied to the soul makes the heart light with faith, so that the troubles of life lose their weight. If they are His children, then Jesus claims them publicly, glories in them as the Father’s gift, the promised fruit of the travail of His soul. He is more thoroughly one with them than any earthly father can be with his flesh and blood.

Therefore, take heart. The Lord wants what is best for them, nothing less than His salvation. Bring them again and again to the throne of grace. Tell them, “In peace let me resign my breath, and Thy salvation see. My sins deserve eternal death, but Jesus died for me.” Only think what good four simple lines may do! May they soon come forward with eagerness to say, “We have been washed in the blood of Jesus.” Then, whether they are at school or in the world, they shall be kept by the power of God through faith unto that day. The young lions may lack, but these children shall not lack any good thing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your soul aches for your children, and that is a sign of love, but see what it is you chiefly ask. You cry out for smooth faces, girlish dress, normal behavior, and a quiet life free from evil influences. These are small things, and they are not the measure of a blessed life. The wisdom of the Cross, which is God’s power, looks like foolishness to the world, and so many chase after health and beauty while despising the one thing necessary. Why do you suppose the Lord sometimes leaves the body unhealed or the manner rough? It is to heal the soul first; He rebuked the father who demanded a sign, not to be harsh, but to teach that miracles are for the unbelieving. The true wonder is not clear skin but a heart cleansed from sin.

When you ask to cover them with the blood of Jesus, you speak rightly, but then know that this covering is not a charm against earthly troubles. It is their salvation. The word of faith is short: confess the Lord Jesus and believe God raised Him from the dead, and you shall be saved. That is the wisdom hidden from the rulers of this age. If you gain this for them, you have done all. But if you continue to plead so earnestly for acne to clear and for girlish clothing, you risk teaching them to judge by outward appearance, which the Lord forbids. What is tall or short, black or white, rich or poor? Indifferent things. God bestows them even on the wicked to show they are nothing. If you understood His mercies, you would no more fret over your daughter’s dress than over the length of her hair. The truly good man does not study to be bad; he seeks heavenly things, and often God withdraws the lesser to lead us upward, as a father takes a toy to give his child something better.

Train your children in longsuffering. The one who is slow to anger is abundant in wisdom, while the furious man makes himself a mere child. Teach them to laugh inwardly at insult and provocation, and they will stand above the arrows of malice. This is the maturity you long for, not a son who merely speaks politely, but who has a soul like adamant that receives no wound. Be wise yourself: do not think that happy, healthy, normal children as the world counts them are safe. The world’s wisdom is foolishness with God. Rather, pray that they become perfect, that is, believers in Christ, established in the wisdom of the Spirit. Let them be children in wickedness but men in understanding, harmless as doves and wise as serpents. That is worth more than all the clear skin and pleasant speech the world admires.

You have a talent to use for your children’s good: your prayers, your tears, your daily words. Do not despise this because you are not rich or learned. The widow’s mite was greater than the treasury of the great, and the unlearned fishermen turned the world upside down because they lived for the common good and entrusted all to God. So entrust your children to the Physician of souls. Whether He grants them smooth faces or not, He will give them what serves their true health: faith, kindness, patience, and the love that comes from the Holy Spirit. This is how they will know they are the Lord’s beloved children. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and then, not the acne cure perhaps, but everything truly needful will be added. Let your “amen” be not a wish for a comfortable life, but a surrender to the wisdom that saves.
