Kicked Out Blind
Shebaa had an infection behind her right eye.
Blood came out of her eye and stuck to her pillow.
She was in much pain and lost most of her sight.
They did emergency surgery last week.
They gave her powerful medications.
Her sight improved.
She was scheduled for surgery this week.
It was going to be Friday or next Monday.
But they moved it to Thursday morning.
A nurse came to her apartment Wednesday night.
The nurse took the final tests and counseled her for post surgery.
She was told that she might be in the hospital for two days.
That would be followed by four months of therapy.
The therapy teaches the eye muscles to work well again.
The surgery happened very early this morning, Thursday.
Instead of letting her slowly wake up they gave her medicine to quickly wake.
She was told that she had been dropped from her insurance.
They are kicking her out of the hospital.
She cannot see anything due to the bandages.
She used the voice dial on her cell phone to call me before 10 AM.
She asked for special prayers.
She will call back when she knows more.
And I will relay it to you.
Pray for Jesus to redeem all this.
May the Holy Spirit lead us in how to pray.
