Father Lord, I thank you for giving us the gift of life, the strength, and the courage to continue standing in the gap for our prodigals. Father, we all require miracles in our marriages at this time, only some of us will receive them because it is in Your hands that You do Your works, and it is their time now. Father, those of us who are waiting, let us be of good cheer. Grant us the strength to make it through this holiday season. Continue, Father, the move mountains in our marriages, continue to keep the lines of positive communication wide open between us and our spouses, keep that hedge of thorns around us and our spouses to ward off the enemy. Father, we are living in a world full of sin, we are living in a world where it is okay and highly acceptable for our spouses to live in adulterous relationships and people scoff at us who are standing and holding fast to the vows we made before you. Father, our stand is seen as unnatural and a joke. Thank you for being here for us, thank you for standing with us because we are courageous to stand for what we believe. This belief is in you, Christ Jesus, and the covenant we made with you.
Father, we are hurting, but this too shall pass. Let no weapon formed against us or our marriages prosper. Let what you have put together no man/woman separate. They will succeed for a time, but we know, Father, that you will bring an end to their celebrations because they have forgotten you and your word. I hope that is soon, Father.
I pray today that you continue to move the mountains and the rocks with all the debris that the enemy has thrown in our paths. Father, remove all generational curses and all works and workers of iniquity out of our lives today. Father, cleanse us and our spouses with the blood of your Son Jesus. Wash away our sins, Father. In Jesus' name, I claim victory over the works of the enemy; he could not hold your Son Jesus in the grave. Father, never let us be overcome by the enemy that we forget how to pray to you. I thank you for saving us from doing what grieves your Holy Spirit; please do the same for our spouses. I pray now that you move prophetically into our lives and the lives of our marriages, our families, friends, and even those that the enemy are using to frustrate our work. Bind up all the demons and wicked spirits that are encamped around us and throw them into a lake of ever-burning fire. Unleash on us the fruits of the spirit of forgiveness, love, and righteousness.
In this season, keep us focused on you and the gift that the world was given. Your Son who dwelt among men and paid the ultimate sacrifice, death on the cross, so that all of us can be free from the power of Satan. In Jesus' name, I pray AMEN.
