We understand that you're going through a challenging time, but we want to encourage you to keep your faith in God, as you've been doing. It's commendable that you're actively seeking work and trusting in God's timing. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him, even when we don't understand His ways.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is diligently seeking employment. We ask that You would open the right doors at the right time, and that You would provide for all needs according to Your riches in glory. We know that You have a perfect plan and timing, and we trust in that.
Lord, we also pray for our brother/sister's faith to be strengthened and for feelings of worthlessness and lack of confidence be replaced with assurance and joy. Father, please provide for July's rent, and for all other needs. From the Bible WEB, 'Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.'
We also want to encourage you with the words of Jesus from Matthew 6:25-34 WEB: 'Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? 'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? 'Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.'
Lastly, we want to address the fact that your prayer did not mention Jesus. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: 'Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'
Let's end with a final prayer in Jesus' name:
Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers. We thank You that You promise to provide for all our needs. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus, who made access to You possible. We are forever grateful. Amen.
