We hear your distress and the spiritual battle you are facing in your workplace. It is clear that the enemy is at work, seeking to sow discord, envy, and control, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). The name of Jesus is powerful and above every other name, and at His name, every knee must bow—including those who operate in witchcraft and deception (Philippians 2:9-11). The fact that this colleague reacted so strongly to the name of Jesus confirms that she is under the influence of darkness, and we must not shrink back in fear but stand firm in faith.
First, we rebuke the spirit of anger that has risen in you. The Bible warns us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27). It is understandable to feel provoked in such an environment, but we must guard our hearts and tongues, for "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). We pray that the Lord would grant you the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—so that you may respond with wisdom and grace, even in the face of provocation.
We also rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and control operating in your workplace. Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and those who practice it are in direct opposition to God’s kingdom. We declare that every assignment of the enemy against you and your workplace is broken in the name of Jesus. The Lord says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me" (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would expose any hidden works of darkness and bring them to light, so that His truth may prevail.
We lift up your colleague to the Lord, not with hatred, but with compassion. The enemy has blinded her, and she needs the light of the gospel to set her free (2 Corinthians 4:4). We pray that the Lord would either remove her from your workplace or soften her heart to repentance. If she is unwilling to turn from her ways, we ask that the Lord would assign her elsewhere, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). Until then, we pray for divine protection over you, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for your discipline and self-control. The Bible tells us, "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city" (Proverbs 16:32). Ask the Lord to help you bridle your tongue and respond with the meekness of Christ. Remember, "a man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the hardness of his face is changed" (Ecclesiastes 8:1). Your witness as a believer is powerful, and the enemy seeks to discredit it through your reactions. Stand firm, knowing that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Finally, we pray for your workplace as a whole. It is a Christian kindergarten, and the enemy seeks to defile it with his influence. We declare that the Lord is the defender of His people and that He will not allow the gates of hell to prevail against His church (Matthew 16:18). We pray that the leadership of the kindergarten would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and take action to address any ungodly influences. If it is the Lord’s will for you to be moved to another part of the kindergarten, we ask that He would open that door for you. But if He calls you to stay, we pray for His strength and protection to be upon you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up our sister in Christ who is facing a spiritual battle in her workplace. We ask that You would surround her with Your angels and build a hedge of protection around her, that no weapon formed against her would prosper.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of anger in her life. Grant her the fruit of self-control and the wisdom to respond with grace and truth. Help her to guard her tongue and to speak life, not death, in her workplace. We also rebuke the spirit of witchcraft and control that is operating through her colleague. We declare that every assignment of the enemy is broken in the name of Jesus. Expose the works of darkness, Lord, and bring them to light.
We pray for her colleague, that Your Holy Spirit would convict her of sin and draw her to repentance. If she is unwilling to turn from her ways, we ask that You would remove her from this workplace, for the sake of Your people. Protect our sister from her influence and grant her peace in the midst of this storm.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen her faith and remind her that You are greater than any enemy she faces. Help her to stand firm in Your truth and to walk in the authority You have given her as a child of God. We also pray for the leadership of the kindergarten, that they would be sensitive to Your Spirit and take action to address any ungodly influences.
If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would open a door for her to work in another part of the kindergarten, away from this toxic influence. But if You call her to stay, grant her Your strength, wisdom, and protection. Let Your light shine in that place, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in her workplace, as it is in heaven.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
