🙏 Father in Heaven -- Thank You for Your light and truth, Ps 43:3, allowing us to understand and believe in Christ, Matt 11:25, Matt 16:17, 1 Cor 1:30, and for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Rom 3:25, which cleanses us from all sin, 1 Jn 1:7. Thank You for the power of the stripes that wounded Jesus that heal us and make us whole, Isa 53:5, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24.

We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Prov 30:8, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-7, 8, 9, Phil 4:11-12, 13. Let Your Bride walk in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, help us make ourselves ready, Rev 19:7. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2. May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. The pure in heart see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of You, Lord, 2 Cor 7:1

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9. Keep us especially from deception, 2 Thes 2:9-10, John 3:19, by Christ's water washing of the water of the Word, Eph 5:26, The Word of Truth, Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 6:7. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 21:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he and the false prophet and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecc 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, leading many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, and instructing many, Mal 2:5, 6, Matt 28:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for the protection of God’s people from deception and the snares of the evil one. Your Word warns us clearly in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 that the coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by all kinds of deceit for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Father, we recognize that deception is not merely an external threat but a spiritual battle that begins in the heart and mind. We ask You to guard us by the power of Your Name, as Jesus prayed in John 17:11, "Holy Father, keep them through Your name which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are." Your Name is our refuge, our shield, and our strong tower, and we cling to it in these perilous times.

We thank You for the gift of Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). We ask that You would wash us with the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26), that we may be cleansed from every lie, every distortion, and every half-truth that the enemy seeks to plant in our minds. Let us not be like those described in James 1:22, who are hearers of the Word only and not doers, but let us be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2), that we may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will.

We also recognize the vital role of prayer, preaching, teaching, fellowship, worship, and corporate gathering in guarding our hearts. Acts 2:42 describes the early church as devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers. These are not mere activities but lifelines that keep us anchored in truth. Father, we ask that You would stir in us a hunger for these means of grace. Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but let us exhort one another, especially as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). May our fellowship be a place where iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), where we spur one another on to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24), and where we hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering (Hebrews 10:23).

We lift up our pastors, teachers, and spiritual leaders, asking that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and courage to preach the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27). Let them not shrink back from declaring anything that is profitable, nor from rebuking, exhorting, and teaching with all patience (2 Timothy 4:2). Protect them from the fear of man, which brings a snare (Proverbs 29:25), and fill them with boldness to proclaim Your truth, even when it is unpopular or costly. We pray that their lives would be examples of holiness, humility, and devotion to You, so that their teaching would be accompanied by the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 1:5).

Father, we also ask for protection from the specific deceptions of our age. The dragon, as described in Revelation 12:15, spews water like a flood to sweep away the woman, and we see this flood of false doctrine, persecution, and moral confusion sweeping across the world. We pray that You would restrain the mystery of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:7) and raise up godly leaders in government who will punish evil and protect the righteous (Romans 13:1-7). Give us discernment to recognize the spirit of the antichrist, which is already at work in the world (1 John 4:3), and grant us the wisdom to expose the deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Let us not be deceived by the allure of greed, as You warn us in Luke 12:15 that a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. Instead, teach us to be content with what we have, for You have said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

We also pray for the Bride of Christ, the Church, to walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). Help us to make ourselves ready for the return of our Bridegroom (Revelation 19:7), purifying ourselves even as He is pure (1 John 3:3). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). Father, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but we trust in Your promise that He who began a good work in us will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). We ask that You would perfect that which concerns us (Psalm 138:8) and grant us the holiness without which no one will see You (Hebrews 12:14). Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).

We pray for strength to resist temptation and to stand firm in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13). Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one (Matthew 6:13). Keep us from sin, as You promise in Zephaniah 3:13 that the remnant of Israel shall do no iniquity nor speak lies. Let us hide Your Word in our hearts, that we might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), that we may walk in increasing clarity on the path of righteousness (Proverbs 4:18).

Father, we also lift up our families, friends, and fellow believers, asking that You would protect them from deception and draw them ever closer to You. Let us be a people who fear You above all else, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). May we be wise and win souls (Proverbs 11:30), leading many to righteousness (Daniel 12:3) and instructing them in Your ways (Matthew 28:20). Let us be lights in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory (Matthew 5:14-16).

We pray that the antichrist and all his works would be exposed, defeated, and ultimately destroyed, as Your Word declares in 2 Thessalonians 2:8. May the saints be guarded from buying into his deceptive system (Revelation 13:6), and may the devil, the false prophet, and all who follow them be cast into the lake of fire forever (Revelation 20:10). We long for the day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).

In all these things, we offer our prayers with thanksgiving, trusting in Your faithfulness to hear and answer us. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and for the power of His resurrection, which enables us to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). We thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all truth (John 16:13) and empowers us to be Your witnesses (Acts 1:8). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We stand united in prayer, dear brothers and sisters, seeking Your protection from the wiles of the enemy. As we see deception increasing around us, we cling to Your promise in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10, "The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by powerful delusions, so that they will believe the lie." Father, we ask that You would keep us from being deceived, that we may stand firm in the truth. Help us to discern the spirit of the age, to recognize the lies that are being spread, and to hold fast to Your Word.

We also lift up our pastors and spiritual leaders, asking that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and courage to preach the whole counsel of God. Protect them from the fear of man, which brings a snare, and fill them with boldness to proclaim Your truth, even when it is unpopular or costly.

We pray for our families, friends, and fellow believers, asking that You would protect them from deception and draw them ever closer to You. Help us to be lights in this dark world, shining brightly for Your glory.

We thank You for Your faithfulness, for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ, and for the power of His resurrection. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
