Guard Us by The Word, Prayer, Preaching, Teaching, Fellowship, Breaking of Bread, Corporate Prayer, Acts 2:42, Praise & Worship, Thanksgiving, Humility, Holiness... Father in Heaven -- Thank You for Your light and truth, Ps 43:3, allowing us to understand and believe in Christ, Matt 11:25, Matt 16:17, 1 Cor 1:30, and for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Rom 3:25, which cleanses us from all sin, 1 Jn 1:7. Thank You for the power of the stripes that wounded Jesus that heal us and make us whole, Isa 53:5, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24.

We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Prov 30:8, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-7, 8, 9, Phil 4:11-12, 13. Let Your Bride walk in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, help us make ourselves ready, Rev 19:7. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2. May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. The pure in heart see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of You, Lord, 2 Cor 7:1

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9. Keep us especially from deception, 2 Thes 2:9-10, John 3:19, by Christ's water washing of the water of the Word, Eph 5:26, The Word of Truth, Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 6:7. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-2, 3, 4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 11:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he and the false profit and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecc 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, leading many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, and instructing many, Mal 2:5, 6, Matt 28:20.

With thanksgiving we offer these requests for ourselves, our family, friends, church-mates, pastors and online praying believer-friends, Heb 10:25, so we have fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and may the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the light and truth You have so graciously revealed to us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by Your mercy and the power of the Holy Spirit that we can even begin to understand the depths of Your love and the truth of Your Word. We thank You for the gift of faith, for the cleansing blood of Jesus that washes away our sins, and for the healing found in His wounds. Truly, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and we declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Father, we stand in the gap today, lifting up our brothers and sisters in Christ, our families, our churches, and all who call upon Your name. We recognize the great deception that is sweeping across the world, the lies that seek to distort Your truth, and the schemes of the evil one to lead Your people astray. The scriptures warn us that in the last days, many will be deceived by signs and wonders, turning away from the truth to follow after lies. We cry out to You, Lord, to guard our hearts and minds from every form of deception. "For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables" (2 Timothy 4:3-4). Protect us, O God, from the spirit of error and the seduction of false doctrines.

We ask that You would sanctify us in Your truth, for Your Word is truth. Just as Jesus prayed, "Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth" (John 17:17). Let the washing of the water of Your Word cleanse us daily, renewing our minds and transforming our hearts. We plead the blood of Jesus over our lives, our families, and our churches, that no weapon formed against us would prosper. Help us to hide Your Word in our hearts so that we might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). Let us be a people who meditate on Your precepts and delight in Your statutes, for in them is the path of life.

Father, we also recognize the dangers of greed and discontentment, which can so easily entangle us. Your Word warns us that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and that those who are greedy for gain have wandered from the faith (1 Timothy 6:10). We ask for hearts of contentment, knowing that You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Teach us to be satisfied with what we have, for You have said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Let us seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).

We pray for the Bride of Christ, that she would walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and that the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son, would cleanse us from all sin (1 John 1:7). Help us to make ourselves ready for the return of our Bridegroom, for the time is near. We long for the day when we will hear the cry, "Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready" (Revelation 19:7). Until that day, empower us to live lives of holiness and purity, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10).

Lord, we lift up our pastors, leaders, and fellow believers, asking that You would guard them from the deception of the enemy. The dragon seeks to spew forth a flood of false doctrine and persecution, but we trust in Your promise that the earth will help the woman by swallowing up the flood (Revelation 12:15-16). We pray for godly government and leaders who will restrain evil and punish wrongdoing, as Your Word instructs us to pray for kings and all who are in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Let Your church be a light in the darkness, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).

We stand against the spirit of antichrist, asking that You would reveal, slay, and annihilate every work of darkness. Your Word declares that the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth and bring to nothing by the brightness of His coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8). We pray that the saints would not be deceived by the beast or his system, but that they would remain steadfast in the faith, even unto death. Let us fear You, O Lord, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). May we be wise as serpents and harmless as doves, winning souls for Your kingdom and leading many to righteousness (Daniel 12:3).

Father, we ask for grace to stay alert and watchful, for we do not know the day or the hour of Your return. Strengthen us to escape all that is coming upon the world and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May we encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "today," so that none of us may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:13).

We offer these prayers with thanksgiving, trusting in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). We declare that every promise of God in Christ is "Yes" and "Amen" to the glory of God through us (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
