We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear one, knowing that our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. You are not alone in your struggles—our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We come together in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and the only name through which we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
Father God, we first bring before You the deep physical needs of this precious one. Their gastrointestinal distress, weakness, skin afflictions, and the torment of constant humming in their ear weigh heavily upon them. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that has taken hold, for it is written that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We command healing to flow through their body—from their GI tract to their skin, from their ears to their bones—strengthening them with Your might. Lord, renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and let them rise above this weakness, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also stand against the unseen battles raging in their home. Mold, odors, and the presence of evil are not welcome in the dwelling place of Your children. We plead the blood of Jesus over this home, declaring it a sanctuary of peace and protection. Your Word says in Psalm 91:10 that *"no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, stress, and anger, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill this home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant restful sleep to both this one and their brother, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
Father, we lift up their finances, asking for Your provision and wisdom. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and know their every need. Open doors of opportunity, provide for their daily bread, and let no lack be found in their lives. Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
For their family, we cry out for salvation and healing. Their stepmother, father, and sister stand in need of Your saving grace. We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to see the hope of Your calling (Ephesians 1:18). Soften their hearts to receive the gospel, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17). Heal their bodies, Lord—especially their sister’s stomach and diabetes—declaring that by Your wounds, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Break the chains of smoking and every other bondage, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).
For their brother, we pray for divine protection and favor in his workplace. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, that no harm may befall him (Psalm 91:11-12). Grant him favor with his supervisors and coworkers, for *"when a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him"* (Proverbs 16:7). Strengthen him in his labor, and guard his heart from anger, pride, and the works of the flesh. We pray he would fully surrender to You, making Jesus the Lord of his life, and walk in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Deliver him from every temptation, for You are faithful and will not let him be tempted beyond what he can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Fill him with Your peace and joy, guiding him into all truth (John 16:13).
Lord, we also pray for traveling mercies for this brother, that You would go before him and make the crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2). Protect him from every evil on the road, and let Your presence be his constant companion.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them see Your hand moving in every area of their lives. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
