Hello Prayer Family - it's good to be back after an extended absence from the board. As many of you know, my family moved to a new home this first weekend of July and it has been a daunting task getting things renovated and settled. I just wanted to give each of you a little encouragement as we head into the weekend. God is right where you are every minute of your life. This became amazingly evident to me in kind of a humorous way this week, and you know me, I have to share.

I was sitting on the floor of our new home, surrounded by boxes literally up to eye level in all directions. As I sorted and put away, it seemed like I wasn't getting anywhere. I clearly remember thinking to myself that I thought I would NEVER get done. Well, in His gentle love and constant care, God gave me just the boost I needed. I was listening to KLOVE and the next song was "Tunnel" by Third Day. If you've never heard it, I've posted it below. If you have heard it, you know how ironic (but in God's perfect timing) it was to come on the radio at that exact moment.

So whether you are faced with a mountain of boxes or laundry that needs to be put away....a broken relationship....a health concern....the need for employment or a better job...financial difficulty....trying to bring others to salvation....GOD IS RIGHT THERE, in every single moment, breath, sigh and thought...RIGHT THERE. So whatever it is, give it over to Him, let Him deal with it, and praise Him for being there. I speak from experience when, as the song says, I tell you ~ there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Believe, Receive, Praise and Treasure. May God bless you with a weekend full of His majesty, blessing, peace and power.

He will NEVER let you down.

I never tire of your encouragements. God be with you, sister.

Lord Jesus, your timing is perfect in every way. We live in a fast paced world, we want it now not 5 mintues from now. That is the mentality. Thank you for making us wait... so that we will learn patience and trust. Lord, I pray your loving arms around K-J. I thank you for her loving and caring spirit, for her gentleness. She is a fiece warrior but so kind hearted. Bless her Lord. Protect her from the enemy and the spirits that roam this earth. Give her wisdom and knowledge. Give her discerment. I pray your mercy and grace to cover her all of her days. May thy will be done and may thy kingdom come.

Give her much joy and peace. Thank you and praise you. Amen

I do love this song. Just reminds me at times that tunnel can seem so long at times. Seems never ending. Yet with Jesus, we keep going on sometimes. There times we didn't thin we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we been in the dark so long. We won't even notice at first God was there all along. Not matter how bad we have it. There is alwAys light at the end of the tunnel. How amazing. We do have to be patient and find that light. But never stop seeking it

My prayer continues to be that we all focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, not the hardships and strain of the journey there. God is amazing....grab onto Him and never let go!!
