We join you in this burden for God's creation and we share your concern that mankind in pride has sought to intrude upon what God has made and called very good, Genesis 1:31. Scripture reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:13-14, that God created man in his own image, Genesis 1:27, and that before we were formed in the belly He knew us, Jeremiah 1:5. The earth is Yahweh's, with all its fullness, Psalm 24:1, and we are stewards, not owners, placed in the garden to till it and keep it, Genesis 2:15. When science seeks to redesign life itself through genetic engineering, to destroy life in the womb for stem cell research, or to transcend our God-given humanity through transhumanism, it treads on holy ground and there is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death, Proverbs 14:12, and woe to him who strives with his Maker, Isaiah 45:9.

We agree with you that what is most needed is the spirit of the fear of Yahweh and humility among researchers, politicians, ethics councils and all who hold influence in these fields. The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10, and the Spirit of Yahweh rests upon those who walk in counsel and might, knowledge and the fear of Yahweh, Isaiah 11:2. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble, James 4:6, and He has promised that He will guide the humble in justice, Psalm 25:9. We pray that pride would be broken and that hearts would be turned to seek not what man can do, but what God wills.

We lift this together before the Father in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, John 14:6, Acts 4:12.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we ask You to have mercy on this generation. Pour out the spirit of the fear of God and of humility upon every researcher, policymaker, member of ethics councils, and those in industry and government who direct these technologies. Convict them of the sanctity of life You have created and restrain every work that would defile Your creation or exalt man above his Creator. Grant them wisdom to discern good from evil and courage to set boundaries that honor You. We ask that You sovereignly direct all these developments according to Your perfect will, that You would overrule what is intended for evil and cause all things to work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, Romans 8:28, and even more so for the good of Your children and the glory of Your name. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven and let no door remain open that You have not ordained. We trust that You remain sovereign over all creation and that nothing escapes Your hand, Daniel 4:35.

We thank you for sounding this call to prayer and we will continue to remember this important matter before the Lord from time to time as you have asked, trusting that He hears the prayers of His people and that He will keep and guard what He has made until the day of Christ's return.

Thank you for sharing this burden so clearly. We hear your reverence for God's creation and your concern about how genetic engineering, stem cell research and transhumanism are pressing into areas that belong to Him. It is a weight many feel but few bring to prayer as faithfully as you have.

We join you in this. We will be praying that God grants humility and the fear of Him to researchers, politicians, members of ethics councils and everyone who carries responsibility in these fields, that they would recognize limits, act with restraint, and seek what is truly good. We are also asking that the Lord in His sovereignty would direct these developments, for the good of humanity and even more for the preservation and good of His children.

It helps to have a steady way to keep this before the Lord as you suggested, from time to time. We plan to remember this concern in our own prayers beyond today, and we encourage you to keep a simple rhythm too, perhaps bringing it to the Lord weekly when you pray for leaders and for the world.

Father, we bring these researchers and decision makers before You. Give them humility, wisdom and a reverent fear of You. Restrain what would harm and direct what remains according to Your good purposes. Guard Your creation and shepherd Your people through these days with Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, we ask You guide and protect our country and it's leaders: grant us repentance, grace to seek Your face, 2 Chron 7:14, confession of our sins and the sins of our people, Dan 9:20. We ask for Your wisdom and strength for our leaders as the wars, economy, terrorism, Artificial Intelligence, malicious Recombinant Gene Technology, evil plots and antisemitism, persecution of believers in non-personally identifiable continents like Africa, dissenters in Muslim nations (The Big Red Country's Leadership forcing underground churches, as well as The Bear's, and The "Little Horn that Boasts Great Things") being targeted -- all this weighs upon the leaders, military personnel, missionaries and intercessors for months (even years) now in these areas widely covered in newspapers as current events and therefore no threat to website or individuals to post about them...

As we know they are not wrestling against just flesh and blood, but powers and principalities, Dan 10:13, Eph 6:11-12, and the the best leaders and pastors, evangelists and Gospel officers, Eph 4:7-16, are merely human -- therefore the weapons of our warfare are not flesh and blood but mighty through God, 2 Cor 10:3-4, 5-6.

We ask for the peace of Jerusalem, Psalm 122:6, and that all Israel might be saved, Rom 10:1, Rom 11:25-27. Please help free speech go forth and help us be known as a "House of prayer for all Nations," Isa 56:7, Mark 11:17.

Send true laborers into the Harvest, Matt 9:35-37, especially the war torn areas, areas hit by devastating earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, poverty -- we ask for the salvation of people groups and nations that are NOT personally identifiable BUT need prayer and Workers to outreach to Muslims, Russians, Europeans, Africans, South and Central Americans, Asians, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea & Islands, Canada and The U.S.

Let the Gospel of the Kingdom be proclaimed throughout all the world as a testimony to all the nations so the end can come, Matt 24:14. So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man, Luke 21:36. Thank You in The Name of Jesus, The Amen and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in whom all Your promises are Yes and so we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

Your prayer has been received with solemn agreement, and we join you in bringing this great matter before the throne of grace.

You have touched upon a weighty stewardship. The Lord has set man as steward and not owner, for nothing is his own, it is all his Master's. He who believes in God sees God in all that checks life, believing that God has created every worm that crawls upon the face of the earth and that He has painted every flower that blooms. It is a right and excellent thing that we should rejoice in the natural creation of God, and yet we know that the attributes of God are to be seen in a brighter and superior light in the new creation, where He creates a new heart by His own finger. When men forget they are stewards and trustees of their Master's property, they grow bold to intrude where they ought to kneel.

Therefore we pray with you that the Lord will grant to researchers, to politicians, to ethics councils and to all who hold influence in these fields, that humility which is the friend of prayer, and that holy fear of God from which we must not wish to be free. Humility is not a falsehood against oneself, but a right estimate of oneself before the Most High, to confess with Jacob, I am not worthy of the least of all Thy mercies. And there is a childlike fear which trembles before Him who shakes the earth out of her place, yet does not flee from Him as a slave flees a tyrant, but draws near through the holy Child Jesus. May God grant them such fear, that they may remember that except the Grace of God restrain us, we would transgress all bounds, and may they put on humbleness of mind as becomes those who handle the mysteries of life.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name alone is salvation, look in mercy upon this generation. Thou art the God who formed man of the dust and breathed into him the breath of life, and Thou alone hast wisdom to govern what Thou hast made. Grant, we beseech Thee, the spirit of the fear of the Lord and of true humility to all who labour in these deep things of nature, to those who make laws and to those who counsel in ethics. Restrain what would dishonour Thee and harm our fellow men, and overrule all developments according to Thy sovereign will, for the good of humanity, and yet more abundantly for the good of Thy children, that Thy Church may be kept faithful and Thy name glorified. Teach us all to be found faithful as stewards who must give account, rightly dividing what Thou hast entrusted to us, and to rejoice not in the pride of knowledge but in Thy new creation in Christ Jesus. Thank you for sharing this burden for God's creation and for asking for prayer. Your concern is right and timely, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We will pray that God grants to researchers, politicians, members of ethics councils and all who have influence in these fields a true fear of God and deep humility. Scripture teaches us to fear God above all, and when that fear is present nothing else can rightly rule us. It also teaches that humility is the groundwork of all that is good, not only humility in words but in actions, before God and before others. Without a broken and contrite heart, knowledge becomes pride and power becomes dangerous. With it, even great knowledge can be kept within right bounds.

So we pray that the Lord will humble those who hold this knowledge and power, that they will recognize limits set by the Creator, that they will not act as if they were masters of life itself, and that they will be restrained from what is harmful. We pray that God in His mercy will direct what is already unfolding, that He will overrule evil intentions and turn developments according to His wisdom, for the good of humanity and even more for the good of His children, and for the preservation of what He has made. We pray that all will be subject to His will and that His name will be honored.

We also pray for you, that the Lord will give you peace and confidence in His sovereignty. Even when human power seems great, God remains on His throne and His purposes stand.

We will remember this matter in prayer from time to time as you have asked, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His grace.
