Keep Away Evil Men & Imposters 2 Tim 3:13 Convict Jn16:8 Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Church, Family Intervenes, Clarity, Inner Healing, Isa 1:6, Jer 4:19

Nochaeld

Beloved Warrior
Father, Jesus quoted Moses, You shall not put the Lord Your God to the test, Matt 4:7, Ex 17:2, Deut 6:16. Lead us (and this one) not into temptation, but deliver us (and her) from evil, Matt 6:13 -- convict her to take down her online profiles, Jn 16:8 -- for evil men and imposters (proceed from bad to worse), 2 Tim 3:13... Let her see to it no one deceives her, Matt 24:4, and see to it she is not deceived, for God is not mocked, the one who sows to the flesh shall from the flesh reap destruction, Gal 6:7-8.

I have been trying to warn her family and church to get her pastor involved -- but he is family too and suffers greatly from fear of man, Matt 10:28, and compromise as well, Gal 5:9... May God raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit, Heb 4:12, as He has throughout history Now, in this day, for this cause, in Jesus' Name. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24.

I'm asking for prayers for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Hos 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confessed adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters & the evil one himself...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, but more important, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19, & at least her one sister to not fear man but suffer for righteousness "outside the camp, bearing his reproach, as Christ suffered outside the the city gate," Heb 12:12-13... Give

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin and evil for me, them and all of us, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We hear your deep burden for this dear one and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting her before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve cited reveal a heart that knows the urgency of the hour, evil men and deceivers do indeed grow worse, leading many astray (2 Timothy 3:13). The Lord sees her entanglement in sin, and we join you in crying out for her deliverance, repentance, and restoration.

First, we rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded her to the gravity of her actions. Online profiles, ungodly relationships, and adultery are not mere stumbles, they are open doors to destruction (Exodus 20:14, Matthew 5:28). The Word declares that God is not mocked; whatever a person sows, they will reap (Galatians 6:7-8). We pray the Holy Spirit would convict her powerfully (John 16:8), that she would see the snare of the enemy and turn from it with godly sorrow. Father, hedge her in with thorns as You did for wayward Israel (Hosea 2:6-7), that she may find no pleasure in sin but only in Your ways. Let no imposter or evil man draw near to her, and let her online profiles be removed as a sign of true repentance.

We also lift up her family and church leadership, who seem paralyzed by fear of man (Matthew 10:28) rather than standing firm in righteousness. Compromise in the house of God is a leaven that spreads quickly (Galatians 5:9), and we pray for courage to arise. Raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit (Hebrews 4:12) to speak truth in love, even if it means bearing reproach outside the camp (Hebrews 13:12-13). May her sister, in particular, find strength to suffer for righteousness’ sake, trusting that Christ Himself endured the cross for our sake.

For this woman, we pray for deep repentance, not just for the consequences of her sin (2 Samuel 12:22), but for the sin itself. Let her not twist Your grace into a license for immorality (Jude 1:4), but bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8). Restore her to fellowship with You, that she may know the refreshing of salvation (Acts 3:19). And Lord, we ask that You close every door to further temptation, shielding her from the evil one and his schemes.

For you, dear intercessor, we pray for wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. The burden you carry is heavy, but the Lord is your Shepherd, restoring your soul (Psalm 23:3). May He grant you strength for your duties, grace to fast and seek Him (Isaiah 58:6-12), and protection from every temptation. You are not alone in this battle, stand firm, knowing that the One who called you is faithful (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May His blood cover this situation, His Spirit convict and restore, and His glory be revealed in every outcome.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would intervene in power. Let her see the emptiness of sin and the fullness of life in Christ. Break every chain, silence every lie, and let Your truth reign in her heart. For Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been sitting with your request, feeling the ache behind it, the love that won’t let go, the frustration, and the exhaustion of pleading for someone who keeps walking into harm. You’ve sounded the alarm, you’ve prayed, you’ve tried to rally others. That takes courage, and God sees it.

At the same time, we want to gently remind you that you don’t have to carry the whole weight of her rescue. It’s easy for intercessors to slip into a kind of messiah role, believing that if we just pray hard enough or fast long enough, we can force a breakthrough. But Christ already bore the ultimate burden, and he never asks us to burn ourselves out trying to do his job. You are not her rescuer, he is. That doesn’t make your prayers less vital; it means you can pray with open hands instead of clenched fists, and you can rest even while you war.

So our encouragement is twofold: keep asking boldly for the hedge of thorns and the convicting work of the Spirit, that’s exactly what she needs. But also step back enough to care for your own soul. Find a trusted friend or prayer partner who can share this load with you, not just hear updates but actually sit with you in the tired places. When you fast, let it be an act of dependence, not a demand. God’s grace will sustain you; he doesn’t need haggard soldiers, just faithful ones.

We’re praying with you now: Lord Jesus, we lift up this woman to you. Please hem her in, frustrate every path that leads away from your best, and grant her the gift of godly sorrow that turns her heart around. Protect her from the men who would exploit her and from the lies that entrap her. For our friend here, renew their strength. Give them clarity about what is theirs to do and what they must release. Grant them the grace to fast as you lead, and shield them from temptation and discouragement. We trust you for the outcome, in Jesus’ name.

You have laid hold of a great truth in praying that the Lord would hedge up her way with thorns. For the way of sin is indeed the way of the slothful, and that way is as a hedge of thorns. Men will persist in it with a deadly stubbornness, though every step is misery, because they will not rouse themselves to seek the better path. If the Lord will make the way of transgression bitter and impassable, then she may turn back to the plain way of righteousness. Pray on, thorns are a sharp mercy, and many a soul has been driven home by them when smooth paths would have led to destruction.

But mark this: the hedge alone is not enough. There must be the plow. The thorns are natives of that soil, and they spring up with awful vitality. A surface work will not do. What is needed is that deep conviction of the Spirit which turns the heart inside out, that true repentance which gives glory to God. This is no mere regret, no temporary turning away followed by a return with doubled appetite. That is the repentance that must be repented of. True repentance mourns that it pierced the Lord, and it hates sin with a perfect hatred because it is hateful to Him. It is the handmaid of faith, and the two walk hand in hand, repentance pulling down what faith comes in to rebuild. Pray that she may not be content with a few tears and a passing fright, but that she may be brought to the washing of the Redeemer’s feet with the tears of a broken heart.

I am grieved to hear of the pastor who fears man. A little leaven leavens the whole lump, and a compromising shepherd scatters the flock. Yet our afflictions, even when they come distinctly from man, come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love. Therefore moderate your anger against second causes, and look to the First Cause, who knows how to deliver. He who said, "Deliver him from going down to the Pit," can snap the bands of evil habit and set the captive free. He can raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit whether men will hear or whether they will forbear. The sword is not dulled; the Spirit is not restrained. Only let us look for deliverance from the power of darkness as much from God as deliverance from its guilt. We must look for sanctification where we look for justification, at the cross, and from the gracious hand of our heavenly Father alone.

You have asked wisdom, inner healing, and strength. It is well. The way of the slothful man is a hedge of thorns, but the path of the righteous is made plain. Grace to fast again, protection from temptation, these are not trifles. The Lord would not have the highest spirituality divorced from common sense. Use the means, watch and strive, and trust. If you have been delivered from the power of darkness, do not put yourself under its power again, nor temporize with it. Declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living, for you shall not die, but live. The chastisement of inward pain and the flagellation of outward trial are often the whip that drives the sinner back. Pray on, and let your faith grasp the living promise with living tendrils. He who hedges with thorns can also lead through them.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you pray for this woman to be hedged with thorns, do so indeed, but take care that your own heart not become a tangle of thorns in the process. For it is right to desire her deliverance from the snare of adultery, but remember that the same law which condemns her also examines you. If you yourself are yoked to a spouse yet look with desire upon another, you commit adultery in the heart already, and the fire that never dies awaits the unrepentant. So pray first that your own eye be clear, lest you cast a stone unaware.

Concerning her online profiles and secret meetings, let her hear the Apostle: “Flee fornication.” That flight begins with the removal of every occasion. If the eye offends, pluck it out; if the screen offends, cast it down. To pray for thorns is to ask God to block the path to sin, but the one caught in lust often breaks through the hedge unless the heart itself is changed. Therefore, do not merely ask for external barriers; cry out that her very will be shattered and made new. For there is a grief that is not repentance, like Esau’s tears, loud and wet but seeking only the relief of consequences, not the death of sin. That kind of sorrow finds no place of repentance. True repentance beheads the desire, not just the act.

Yet while you stand firm, do not despair of the fallen. Did not God receive David after adultery and murder? But David’s repentance was not a passing cloud; it was a flood that drowned his pride and brought forth fruits of a broken spirit. Pray then that she may be granted such a gift, for no one rises from this pit unless the Lord stoops down. In the meantime, guard your own soul: do not test God by assuming you cannot fall. Every temptation that has seized you is common to man, and God will provide the escape if you humbly seek it, not if you strut in your own strength.

Finally, for the inner healing you seek, your own wounds and that turmoil of heart, bring them to the true Physician. He binds up the broken and searches the hidden places. But if you ask healing while treasuring anger or secretly relishing her downfall, you will find your prayer blocked. Ask for a clean heart, that your prayer for her might rise without the poison of bitterness. Let your fasting be a weapon not against her but against the demon, and your tears be for your own sins as much as for hers. Then God, who is faithful, will not only deliver her from the pit, if she will truly turn, but will make your own soul a refuge of light in this dark time.

It is a heavy burden to carry, interceding so persistently for someone caught in a path that can only lead to destruction. When you ask the Lord to hedge her with thorns, that is not a prayer born of spite but of desperate love. The way of the slothful is indeed like a hedge of thorns, prickly and barren, while the righteous way is made plain. God sometimes blocks the paths that promise pleasure but end in bitterness. So keep asking that the thorns would close every shortcut she tries, leaving her no rest until she turns back toward home.

Yet remember that the thorns which choke the word can grow in any heart, the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, the desire for other things. Her online profiles are not harmless screens; they are an outward sign of a heart that has begun to tolerate and nourish evil. Sin operates exactly like leaven. A small measure, hidden in the dough, quietly rots until the whole batch is corrupted. That is why the fear of the Lord is really about hating evil. It is the first step of wisdom. Tolerating it, accommodating it, letting it nest where we can see it, that only guarantees it will spread. It would be better for her, and for those who love her, to hear a hard rebuke than to sit among the crackling of fools, mistaking noise for warmth.

I hear the anguish in your words that those close to her have been silent, gripped by the fear of man. That fear itself is a leaven. And a shepherd who lets the flock wander into thorns out of family loyalty or fear of conflict is not protecting anyone. But God’s eyes are in every place. He is not far from the wicked in distance, though He is far from their ways. He can raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit even when human channels fail. Pray that the pastor would fear the Lord more than man, and that any necessary separation, difficult as it feels, would aim at her ultimate salvation. The goal of withdrawal is not to cast away but to win back, to let her taste the barrenness of living apart from the fellowship of the body so that she might repent and be restored.

True repentance moves beyond words. Saying “I have sinned” changes nothing if the hand still reaches out for the forbidden thing. God requires a turning, a forsaking of evil. It is the departing from the path of darkness that brings health to the body and marrow to the bones. While you pray for conviction, pray also for that kind of genuine turning. The deliverance from the bondage of sin is meant to be as momentous an event in a soul’s history as Israel’s exodus was for the nation, a deliverance to be remembered constantly, not lightly tossed aside for a return to Egypt.

Be cautious, too, that you keep yourselves in the love of God. It is possible for any of us to walk out from under the hand of His protection through persistent rebellion. When the Spirit withdraws, the door opens to influences far darker than mere human compromise. But God is patient. He sends warning after warning because He desires forgiveness and restoration, not destruction. So pray on, not only for hedges and conviction, but that she would see the emptiness of a life lived apart from the Lord. The house of merriment the fool rushes toward will one day be filled with nothing but ashes and bitterness.

And as you cry out for her, may your own soul find healing and strength. The Lord restores the soul that is poured out in prayer. May He grant you the clarity and inner refreshing you seek, and protect you from the very temptations you labor against. Ask and keep asking, for the prayer of the righteous is heard where it matters most.
