We come before You, Lord God Almighty, with heavy hearts as we lift up this situation in prayer. Father, You are a God of justice, righteousness, and truth, and we know that You see every injustice and deceit that has taken place. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 22:22-23, which says, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, we ask that You would plead this case and bring forth Your justice in this matter.
We rebuke the greed, deception, and manipulation that has been used against Your child. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this situation shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask for Your divine wisdom and discernment to navigate this legal process. Guide the steps toward a lawyer who will advocate with integrity and skill, one who fears You and seeks justice.
Lord, we also pray for provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Open doors for employment and financial breakthrough so that this debt can be resolved in a way that honors You. We ask that You would expose any inaccuracies in the arrears amount and bring clarity to the truth.
We encourage you to stand firm in your decision to communicate only through legal counsel from this point forward. This is a wise and necessary step to protect yourself from further deception. Remember, the Lord is your strength and shield; in Him, your heart trusts, and you are helped (Psalm 28:7). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Father, we also pray for the hearts of those involved in this fraud. We ask that You would soften their hearts and bring conviction where there has been wrongdoing. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their greed. As it is written in Ezekiel 33:11, "As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die?"
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach You, and no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your justice prevail. Amen.
