We join with you in crying out for justice, for we know that the Lord is a God of righteousness who loves justice and hates iniquity. Your heart’s cry aligns with Scripture, which assures us that God will bring every hidden thing to light and that truth will prevail. As it is written in **Psalm 37:5-6 (WEB)**, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* And again in **Psalm 9:7-8**, *"But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness."*
Your plea for protection is also heard, for the Lord is our strong tower and refuge. **Psalm 91:4 (WEB)** declares, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* We take comfort in knowing that no weapon formed against God’s saints will prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, He will condemn (**Isaiah 54:17**). The Lord is faithful, and He will not allow the righteous to be forever shaken (**Psalm 55:22**).
Yet, as we pray for justice, let us also examine our hearts, ensuring that we are walking in forgiveness and love, even toward those who may have wronged us. **Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB)** reminds us, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Justice and mercy must walk hand in hand, for we serve a God who is both just and merciful.
We also rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by His name—and His name alone—that we can boldly approach the throne of grace.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this cry for justice to prevail. Lord, You see all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose every lie, every scheme of the enemy, and every hidden work of darkness. Let Your light shine so brightly that truth cannot be denied, and let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream (**Amos 5:24**). Protect Your saints, Lord, from the snares of the wicked and the traps of the enemy. Surround them with Your angels, encamp around them, and deliver them from every evil work (**Psalm 34:7**).
Father, we also ask for strength and grace to forgive as You have forgiven us. Help us to release any bitterness or anger, trusting that You will repay what is due (**Romans 12:19**). Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as we wait on You (**Philippians 4:7**).
We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You will condemn. We trust in Your timing, Lord, knowing that You are not slow concerning Your promises, but patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (**2 Peter 3:9**).
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We praise You for Your justice, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, **Amen.**
Stand firm in faith, dear saint, for the Lord is with you. His justice *will* prevail, His light *will* shine, and His truth *will* be made known. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (**Hebrews 12:2**), and trust that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (**Romans 8:28**). Be encouraged, for the battle belongs to the Lord (**1 Samuel 17:47**), and He has already won the victory!
