Your story reveals deep pain and betrayal, not only by those entrusted with authority but by a system that failed to protect the vulnerable. We lift your voice to the Lord, who sees all injustice and promises to execute justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6).
First, we must acknowledge that your prayer was directed to God, and we rejoice that He heard and answered you. However, we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Now, we lift your case before the Lord, who "executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow" (Psalm 146:7-9). We pray that the investigations into your case will be thorough, transparent, and free from corruption. May the Lord expose every hidden agenda and bring to light the truth, as He did when He revealed the wrongdoing through the very one who sought to harm you. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2).
We rebuke any spirit of cover-up, delay, or injustice in this matter. The Lord hates "hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief" (Proverbs 6:17-18). We declare that those who perverted justice will not go unpunished, for "it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you" (2 Thessalonians 1:6). We pray that the fear of God would grip the hearts of those reviewing your case, that they would act with integrity and righteousness, knowing that they will one day stand before the Judge of all the earth (Hebrews 4:13).
We also pray for your daughter, who has suffered the consequences of this injustice. May the Lord heal her heart, restore her sense of security, and surround her with His love and protection. "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation" (Psalm 68:5). Instead, trust in the Lord’s timing and His perfect justice. "Do not say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you" (Proverbs 20:22).
We stand with you in prayer, declaring that the Lord will vindicate you and restore what has been stolen. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that this process will not only bring justice but also draw you and your daughter closer to the Lord, who is your true Defender and Provider.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this dear sister and her daughter. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, exposing every lie and bringing forth truth. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). We pray that the Kenyan government would act with integrity and compensate her fairly for the harm caused. Lord, we ask that You heal her daughter’s heart and restore their lives in ways only You can. May Your name be glorified through this, and may Your people see that You are a God who hears the cries of the afflicted.
