Father, Please help us to diligently pray for all prayer requests. We want to bring glory and honor to Your holy name. Please let us be mindful of all requests posted on this board. Give us the words to pray and make our petitions before Your throne pleasing to You. It is in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

This site is entirely supported by prayer warriors who volunteer their time to pray for others. Sometimes the requests are greater than the people available to give each a personal response. Please know that that does not mean Our Heavenly Father has not seen and heard the requests of every one of his children. I think some regularly pray for all posters on the site even tho' they cannot respond personally to each.

I don't know what each person does, we don't have many rules on this site. I'll share my approach if this is helpful.

When I don't have enough time to respond to each request I see still open, I sometimes go first to those registered members who have served others for many months on this site, themselves having prayed for hundreds and thousands of needs. When these post a request, I try to make sure I pray for their needs as much as I am able to. Similarly I love to rejoice with them when they post a praise report! After those, I try to pray for people who have signed up as a member and then guests who have not registered. I also try and scan the open requests looking for the more urgent needs. If I could do this full time, I would pray for all but when time is limited I have to choose. I also ask the Lord to lead me :)

I hope this is helpful, and encourage you to pray for a few people when you log on with your own request, as the Lord leads you. Also we appreciate your signing up as a member, its easy and free and many more features on this site will be available to you when you sign up!

Just wondering - You have a wonderful question which bears thought. I want you to know that we appreciate the opportunity to speak to you about this. There are many reasons why you see this happening. Christine and the others have very good points.

I just want to add one more thing, if you notice how many people have viewed each request, you will see that often someone has read the request but hasn't posted a written prayer. It may be that they are praying silently. That is their way of being a warrior. Not everyone is comfortable writing down their words and thoughts but that doesn't mean, they aren't praying.

There are so many prayer requests during a 24 hour period. There is so much need in the world and we get requests from all over. For myself, I spend 2 to 3 hours a day on this prayer line. I read the prayer request and think about it for a minute and then I ask the holy spirit to guide me. Then I am in the right frame of mind for prayer for an individual. All that takes time. I may only be able to post 7 or 8 requests. I do understand what you are asking. I am making a committment to try and do better so

I thank you for bringing this to my attention. It has made me stop and think. I know if I posted a prayer here, I would want someone to answer. May God bless you today for your caring and concerned heart. May peace be upon you.

you didnt think they did but i went to my prayer room and prayed for all the request and for all that call upon the name of the lord jesus the world the shape it is in the lost fit for destruction. for god to use me to lead people to christ and for jesus allways to walk beside me and catch me if i fall so far he has not let me down.

If my comment can add anything worthwhile to this question: since I don't have much time to spend on this site (I wish I could do this all day long!), I try to go through the first 2 to 3 pages and find those for whom written prayer hasn't been offered. After that, I post on requests with 1 or 2 responses. I've found that the more prayers I offer, the better I feel. Really.

Just an FYI for members, in case you hadn't noticed this...

If you go to the menu bar near the top of the page and click on SEARCH. Then you can choose UNANSWERED REQUESTS, and it brings up only requests that have not been prayed for yet. Saves some time searching through all the pages of each day's posts. :)

Blessings! Press on!!!

There are times I don't have time to get to the many many prayer requests. Thank you Jesus, you are listening and hearing the cries if our hearts. There are times I don't have time to go through so many requests. Sometimes I just put my hand on the computer screen and ask for prayer over all the prayers requesting. Sometimes it can be overwhelming and I can't find all the right words. But the good Lord knows all. The most important is prayer. We are blessed because we get to seek prayer, ask for prayer. Be blessed by prayer. My heart is in it, tho at times a busy life gets the best of me.

Just wondering...in the Old Testament, sinners would get struck down. Sodom and Gommorah, the flood, etc. Even Lot's wife, when she disobeyed God, was turned into a pillar of salt. Nowadays, instead of quick judgments like that, we have people doing things, and saying things that are really so...

i'm wondering why it is that one person can post a prayer request for a specific need and get two prayers replies (both admin responses) while another person can post essentially the same prayer request for themselves and get a dozen or more people praying.
