Just need an ear

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dera Jesus my Savior and God the father. I'm not even asking for anything else but a prayerful ear to listen to me right now. I have confessed often that I stand on all of God's promises to me , everything from supplying my needs, healing my body, provisions made, even being close to the broken hearted. This ache I am feeling is not just a feeling, it is a stark realization that I am speechless even with fervent prayer. I have surrendered, let go and let God believing that my prayers have not been in vain
My only comfort is knowing that through this all I have indeed grown closer in spirit to the godhead . This has left me of all people SPEECHLESS AND FULL OF UNENDING SADNESS. Thank you for listening in Jesus name

We hear the ache in your heart and we count it a privilege to be that prayerful ear you asked for, and we stand with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name. You have come to the right place, to Jesus our Savior and God the Father, and we thank you for sharing this burden so honestly even while you feel speechless and full of sadness.

We are encouraged that you have stood on the promises of God and that you have surrendered and let God have His way, trusting that your fervent prayers have not been in vain. That is truth. God hears every cry, even when words fail. Romans 8:26 reminds us, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. When you have no words, the Holy Spirit is still praying perfectly on your behalf, and the Father understands completely.

The Lord is not distant from your pain. Psalm 34:18 says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He also keeps track of your tears, Psalm 56:8 says You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren’t they in your book. Your sadness is seen and held by Him, and though it feels unending right now, His Word promises that His mercies are new every morning and His comfort will come. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.

We also rejoice with you that through this trial you have grown closer in spirit to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. That closeness is not small, it is the very purpose for which we were created, and God will use it to carry you. When your heart is overwhelmed, we pray you will experience Psalm 61:2, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. That Rock is Christ, and His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness, 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Savior, lifting up this dear one who is speechless and heavy with sadness. We thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You hear even the prayers that have no words. Lord, we ask You to wrap Your loving arms around this heart, to bind up every wound and to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. Let Your presence be felt in a fresh and tangible way, remind this soul that no prayer has been in vain, that every tear has been seen, and that You are working all things for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. Give strength for today, hope for tomorrow, and the assurance that joy will come again as You heal and restore. Draw this dear one even closer to You, and let Your unfailing love be the comfort and anchor that sustains through this valley. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our access to You, John 14:6. Amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your heart to Him, even without words, even in silence, and to stay in His Word daily. Keep casting your burden on Him because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and trust that He who promised is faithful, Hebrews 10:23. We are continuing to hold you in prayer that the Lord will lift this heavy sadness and fill you with His peace and nearness in the days ahead.

We are grateful you reached out and let us listen. We hear the weight in what you shared, standing firm on God's promises and praying fervently, and yet finding yourself speechless and carrying such deep sadness. It makes sense that would feel so disorienting and heavy.

Thank you for naming both parts of this, the ache and also the quiet way you have felt drawn closer to the Father and to Jesus through it. That closeness matters, even on days when words will not come. There are seasons when prayer has no words at all, only sighs and tears, and we believe God still hears and holds you there. Your surrender is not wasted.

When sadness feels unending it can help not to carry it alone. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor or friend, would you consider letting one person hear this same honest update from you this week, just to stay connected. And if this heaviness continues to weigh on your sleep, appetite or daily life, please consider reaching out to a counselor or medical professional as well, alongside prayer, so you have support for both heart and body.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see this speechless sadness and You know every detail. Draw near as comfort and companion, give rest in the night and gentle strength for each day, and guide with Your wisdom and peace. Remind this heart it is heard and not alone. In Jesus name, amen.

Your honest cry has been heard, and I thank you for pouring out your heart with such candor before the Lord. There are seasons when the soul is so burdened that words fail, and fervent prayer itself seems speechless. This is not strange to the people of God, nor is it a sign that your prayers have been in vain.

Under very heavy grief a man cannot speak as he is wont to do, and circumstances can make the most eloquent tongue grow slow of speech. Yet our prayers are not powerful in proportion to their expression. The Lord hears the groaning that cannot be uttered, and He who said He would not quench the smoking flax nor break the bruised reed has a tender regard for such feeble saints. Though you feel as a bruised reed that cannot support another, and as smoking flax that gives more smoke than light, Jesus will not despise you. He has something for the useless and the worthless ones in their own esteem, and His word to you is comfort, comfort, comfort. Despair not.

You have rightly stood upon the promises of God, that He supplies our needs, that He is close to the brokenhearted, and that He hears those who call upon Him. Hold fast to that Word, for this is our comfort in affliction, that His Word has quickened us. When He would comfort us, He often does not give comfort by a distinct act alone, but He quickens us by His Word and so we obtain comfort. The very fact that through this sorrow you have been drawn closer in spirit to the Father and to the Lord Jesus Christ is no small mercy, for that nearness is itself the pearl within the rough oyster. It is a rough shell indeed, but a pearl lies within if you will but look for it.

We know that both sadness and gladness come from the hand of the Lord. We beg for Divine comfort under Divine chastening, and we pray in childlike simplicity, Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us. If He has appointed the sorrow, He also appoints the joy, and He will balance them with infinite wisdom. He is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able, and with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it. Possibly the Lord sees it best for you to bear this burden a little longer, for you are getting good out of it, even a deeper knowledge of Himself.

Be assured that your surrender and your letting go have not been overlooked in heaven. The Lord has heard you, even when you had no words. May He now quicken you anew by His Word, may He turn your unending sadness into gladness in His own time, and may you find that His mercy endures forever and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. I join my prayers with yours that you may be upheld, comforted, and kept to the end by Him who is able to keep you, for His name's sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
