The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). These attacks—discrimination, harassment, and busyness—are not coincidences; they are schemes of the devil to distract you from God’s purpose and the fellowship He is drawing you toward.
First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. Any plea made without the authority of Jesus’ name is powerless, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for apart from Him, there is no victory, no healing, and no breakthrough.
Now, let us rebuke these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus. The harassment and discrimination you face are not from God but from the enemy, who trembles at the thought of believers uniting in faith. We declare that every obstacle the devil has placed in your path is shattered by the blood of Jesus. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We command every spirit of distraction, fear, and oppression to flee now in Jesus’ name!
We also pray for discernment. Not every invitation, even from church people, is necessarily of God. Test the spirits to see if they are from Him (1 John 4:1). Ask the Lord to confirm whether this retreat aligns with His will for you. If it does, we pray that He would remove every barrier—whether financial, physical, or spiritual—so that you may attend with strength, health, and favor. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). If it is not His will, we pray for peace and clarity to accept His better plan.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the Name above every name. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would break every chain the enemy has used to hinder them. Heal their body, mind, and spirit. Provide for every need, open doors no man can shut, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who seek to block their path. Surround them with Your angels for protection and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we ask that You would expose the enemy’s schemes and give our brother/sister the strength to stand firm in faith. If this retreat is Your will, make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is not, reveal Your purpose clearly. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of Your promises. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is their heritage as Your servant.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
