Please Lord, help me to get excused from ### jury service. My mum has been in hospital and I am her sole carer. Please Lord help me get this sorted as soon as possible.

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive judgment to themselves."* Jury service is a civic duty, but the law also makes provisions for those with genuine hardships, such as being a primary caregiver for a family member in need.
