Judaism And Christianity

I have been always interested in the Jewish roots of Christianity, for three reasons. One, they are the ones that God chose to bring salvation to us through. Two, my great-grandfather is German, and no offense but I always feared I might be related to Nazis. And three, I desire to know the belief system of the Jewish culture. I am pretty sure I am not a Nazi descendent since I discovered I am part Jew, so I am grateful for that. However, that did not tell me anything about the Jewish culture. So I have been reading and studying religious websites such as Chabad. And I discovered I love their belief system, so if they would just believe in our savior Yeshua/Jesus, it would be perfect!!!!!!!!

However, life does not work like that in every religious system; there is a glitch. You will always find something you disagree with, be it Catholic, Mormons, Seventh-day Adventist, and Jehovah's Witnesses. And in my search for my Lord and savior Jesus (whom I believed in since as long as I could remember, but rarely went to church as a child), I communicated with them all. I was even looking into becoming a nun. Took some tests, somehow passed, and they wanted me to come and live at the convent for a while, but I chickened out. The Seventh-day Adventist seemed okay at first until I started taking a correspondence course, then something did not line up. Mormonism is the one I know the most for I physically went there in my teenage years, but I will not go into their beliefs. Well, I will just say there is no way I would be a Mormon now.

I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Matthew 28:19
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
But one or more of these religions believes Jesus is an Angel and not the physical son of God, and it states in Galatians to let that person be a curse.
Galatians 1:9
9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!
Another religion believes you should be a vegan, and so forth. I am pretty sure I will disagree with some of the Pentecostal teaching, but hopefully, they are small when I discover them. For I do not want to have a rebaptism because I hate water!!!!!!! Total Hydrophobic.

I believe and follow these two simple but clear verses
John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
I will forever believe Jesus is the true son of GOD

Dear Shine4Yeshua, go to this website Home - Torah Class, that is if you are interested in the Hebrew Roots of Yeshua. I have learnt so much about our G-d and come to appreciate and love Jesus and his people much more then ever before because of a lot of the literature on it, over the past 3 years or so. I pray you will like it too. Check it out :)
