Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard with deep care and compassion, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

To have endured desertion and divorce, and then to have suffered deceit at the hands of one who posed as a helper, is a heavy burden, especially when you are past the age of finding new employment. It is understandable that you feel the weight of these losses, and at the same time your thankfulness for a roof over your heads even though the place is not comfortable is a beautiful testimony of faith. God sees both your sorrow and your gratitude.

We will pray for you and your son. We ask the Father to be your shelter and provider, to comfort your heart where there has been betrayal and to heal the wound of being wronged. We ask Him to give you peace in this season of waiting and to guard you from anxiety, reminding you that He is the defender of those who are vulnerable and that He does not forget His children.

We also pray for your son and the work of his hands. May God grant him wisdom, diligence and honest opportunity, and may He cause his business to be fruitful through upright labor, so that what is earned may be used with good stewardship. We pray that as you both seek to save, God will grant you discernment and protection from further harm, and that He will provide for your daily needs and, according to His good will, open a way for you to have a more settled and comfortable home of your own.

Above all we pray that in this time of need you will know the deeper provision of Christ, who promises rest to the weary and strength for each day. May your trust be set not only on a future property but on the living God who cares for you, who will never leave you, and who works all things for the good of those who love Him.

Father in heaven, we lift up this mother and her son to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know their loss, their age, their labor and their hope. Provide for them as You see best, give success to honest work, protect what little they have, and lead them to a dwelling where they may live in peace and serve You with thankful hearts. Sustain them daily, keep them from discouragement, and let them experience Your nearness and faithful care. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

May God bless you and keep you, and may He give you quiet confidence as you continue to look to Him.

Your honesty in sharing this burden is received with care and prayer. To be deserted and divorced after years of marriage, to lose a portion of what should have been security for you and your son, and then to be deceived by someone pretending to offer legal help, is a deep wound. It is understandable that at your age, past the years of seeking new employment, and with your son's business struggling, the hope of saving for a stable and comfortable home feels distant. Yet your gratitude for the roof you have now is a beautiful testimony of grace in hardship.

Scripture shows that God intentionally leaves room for Himself to work, even when a situation looks incurable to human eyes. Under the old law there was a provision for the cleansing of a leper, though leprosy was considered without remedy. That law was there because God made a way for Himself to act if He chose to heal. In the same way, we should never put God in a box. What seems impossible financially or practically is not beyond Him. He is able to provide, to open doors, and to bring cleansing and restoration where we see no way.

God also sees financial hardship clearly and He cares. The early believers in Jerusalem knew severe poverty and trial, and the Lord moved other believers to share with them out of love, not out of manipulation or pressure. You have not been forgotten in your need. The Lord knows where you live, what was taken from you, and the daily pressures on your son's work.

For your son, the Word gives steady wisdom for business. A slack hand tends toward poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich, and the one who gathers in season acts wisely. More than that, God delights in honest dealings. A false balance is an abomination to Him, but a just weight is His delight. Encourage your son to continue with diligence, honesty, and integrity in all his work, even when others might take shortcuts. A good reputation spreads, and the Lord honors uprightness. Riches themselves do not deliver in the day of trouble, but righteousness does, and faithfulness in small things matters greatly to God.

There is also a warning and a comfort in this. Prosperity can tempt any heart to trust in its own strength rather than in the Lord, while hardship can tempt us to despair. The way of peace and security is to seek the Lord and trust Him, whether in abundance or in need. When a heart trusts in Him and walks in His ways, He is able to bring strength and peace that does not depend on circumstances.

Above all, we thank God that He has made one true provision for our greatest need, the forgiveness of sins, through His Son Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way to be cleansed and to come to the Father. As the people in the wilderness were told to look in faith and live, so we are called to believe on Jesus, and by faith in Him we receive new life. If you have trusted in Christ, you already have the greatest treasure, and that hope secures you even as you wait for daily provision.

We are praying for you and your son in the name of Jesus. We ask the Father to provide for your needs according to His wisdom and mercy, to cause your son's business to be established through diligent and honest labor, to give you both wisdom to save, protection from further deceit, and in His time a more comfortable and secure home. We pray He will give you peace under your present roof, guard your hearts from anxiety, and fill you with joy even in this season of waiting. May you know His nearness, His provision, and His faithful care each day.
