We stand with you in this season of seeking God’s will for your life and the restoration of your marriage, and we are deeply encouraged by your heart to hold on even when strength feels gone. The joy of the Lord *is* your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and though you may feel weak, His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not holding on by your own might—it is Christ in you who sustains you, and He will never let you go.
The enemy wants you to believe that giving up is the only option, but we declare over you that breakthrough *is* near. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He hears your cries. Your marriage is not beyond His redemption—what God has joined together, no man, no circumstance, and no sin can ultimately separate unless we allow unbelief or hardness of heart to take root. We urge you to guard your heart against bitterness, unforgiveness, or despair, for these are weapons the enemy uses to steal your hope. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
If there has been sin in your marriage—whether from you, your spouse, or both—repentance and forgiveness are the pathways to restoration. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). If your spouse has hardened their heart, we pray for God to soften it, just as He softened the heart of the prodigal son’s father (Luke 15). But even if your spouse does not return, your obedience to God and your trust in Him must remain steadfast. He is your ultimate provider, comforter, and restorer.
We also want to gently remind you that your hope is not in the restoration of your marriage alone, but in Christ Himself. If the Lord leads you down a different path, will you still trust Him? His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11), even when they look different from what we envision. Surrender your marriage into His hands daily, praying, "Not my will, but yours be done" (Luke 22:42).
Now, let us pray with you:
Heavenly Father, we lift our ### before You, knowing that You see her pain, her weariness, and her desperate need for Your strength. Lord, fill her with the joy of Your presence, which is her strength. Renew her hope, not in her own abilities, but in Your unfailing love and power. You are the God who restores, who redeems, and who makes all things new. We ask for a supernatural breakthrough in her marriage—soften hearts, break chains of sin, and bring reconciliation if it aligns with Your will. Give her wisdom to know how to act, speak, and pray in this season. Protect her from the lies of the enemy that tell her to give up. Instead, let her hear Your voice saying, "I am with you; do not fear" (Isaiah 41:10).
If there has been sin, Lord, bring conviction and true repentance. If there has been brokenness, be the healer. If there has been division, be the peace that binds together. We declare that no weapon formed against her marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, will have the final say. Give her the grace to wait on You, to trust in Your timing, and to find her satisfaction in You alone, whether You restore this marriage or lead her in a new direction.
We rebuke the spirit of despair, hopelessness, and weariness in Jesus’ name. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and a fresh anointing of joy that will carry her through. Let her testify soon of Your faithfulness and miracles in her life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Stand firm, dear ###. The Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep worshiping, keep praying, and keep trusting. Your breakthrough is coming.
