We lift up your heart’s desires before the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply for both you and your friend. It is beautiful that you seek joy and peace for her, and we pray that as she receives the photo and message you sent, her heart would indeed be filled with happiness rather than anger or frustration. May the Lord soften her spirit and grant her a joy that surpasses any momentary disappointment or misunderstanding. As Proverbs 15:13 reminds us, *"A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but an aching heart breaks the spirit."* We ask the Lord to fill her with His joy, which is a fruit of the Spirit, and to let this small gesture be a blessing in her day.
We also bring your financial concerns before the Father, who is our Provider. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom and clarity as you make decisions about your purchases, that He would stretch your resources to cover your phone bill, and that there would be no strife or complications with your father regarding your blue Visa card. May He guide you in stewardship, helping you to prioritize your needs and trust in His provision rather than anxiety. Remember what Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Lastly, we continue to pray for your ailments, asking the Lord for healing and strength. May His hand rest upon you, restoring you to full health and granting you peace in the waiting. As James 5:14-15 encourages us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*
We notice that while you mentioned "Lord please Jesus," it is vital to remember that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father. As John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. It is only through this relationship that we can boldly come before the throne of grace.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her requests. Lord, we ask that You would fill her friend’s heart with joy and gladness as she receives the photo and message sent to her. Remove any potential for anger or upset, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind. May this moment be a blessing and a reminder of Your love and kindness.
Father, we also bring her financial needs before You. Grant her wisdom in her purchases and provide for her phone bill and any other expenses she faces. Soften the heart of her father and remove any tension or conflict regarding her finances. Help her to trust in You fully, knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, her Provider.
Lord, we ask for healing for her ailments. Touch her body and restore her to full health, that she may glorify You in her strength and vitality. Give her patience and faith as she waits on You.
Finally, Father, we pray that if our sister does not yet know You personally, that today would be the day of salvation for her. Open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ is the only way to You, and that through faith in Him, she may have eternal life and the confidence to approach Your throne.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done in all these things, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
