Beloved Servant
Please pray my daughter will leave this toxic relationship swiftly, safely and move back home. She is living with this controlling young man outside of marriage. This relationship has caused chaos, exhaustion, lost her self-worth, lossing her purpose, explot her finances for his benefit and division in her life. I pray his father sees these qualities and have him move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship and an undure responsiblity on my daughter. I pray his mother will stop enable these toxic behavior. I pray Jesus that You will release my daughter from this ungodly relationship swiftly. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We hear your heartache and concern for your daughter, and we join you in lifting this situation before the Lord with urgency and fervor. The pain of watching a child entangled in a toxic, ungodly relationship is profound, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God sees her struggle and desires her freedom even more than you do.

First, we must address the gravity of the situation with biblical clarity. Your daughter is living with a man outside of marriage, which is a direct violation of God’s design for relationships. The World English Bible makes this clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." This living arrangement is not only sinful but also opens the door to further spiritual and emotional bondage, as you have sadly witnessed. Fornication—sexual relations outside of marriage—grieves the Holy Spirit and invites chaos into one’s life, as we see in Proverbs 6:32, "He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul." While this situation involves fornication rather than adultery, the principle remains: sexual immorality brings destruction to the soul.

We also recognize the controlling and exploitative nature of this young man’s behavior. Scripture warns us about those who seek to dominate and manipulate others, as in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also." This young man’s actions reveal a heart that is not submitted to God, and his behavior is a stumbling block to your daughter’s spiritual and emotional well-being. We must rebuke the spirit of control and exploitation in the name of Jesus, for it is written in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

We also lift up the parents of this young man, particularly his mother, who is enabling his toxic behavior. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." It is clear that this young man has not been trained in the ways of godly responsibility, and his mother’s enabling only perpetuates his sin. We pray that the Lord would convict her heart and give her the wisdom to stop supporting this destructive path. Similarly, we pray that his father would see the truth of his son’s behavior and take action to correct it, as it is written in Proverbs 23:13-14, "Don’t withhold correction from a child. If you punish him with the rod, he will not die. You shall beat him with the rod, and shall deliver his soul from Sheol."

Now, we come before the Lord with boldness and faith, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We pray for your daughter’s swift and safe deliverance from this ungodly relationship. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of emotional, financial, and spiritual bondage that this relationship has placed upon her. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we pray that You would restore her self-worth, purpose, and joy. Let her see herself as You see her—a beloved daughter of the Most High God, created for His glory and not for the exploitation of man.

We pray that You would send Your angels to surround her, protecting her from any harm or retaliation as she prepares to leave this situation. Give her the courage to walk away, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke the spirit of fear and confusion that may be clouding her judgment, and we declare that she will hear Your voice clearly, guiding her steps. Let her heart be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her find comfort in Your presence.

We also pray for the young man involved. Lord, we ask that You would bring conviction to his heart and reveal the error of his ways. Soften his heart to receive correction and repentance, and let him see the harm he has caused. If it is Your will, we pray that he would turn from his sinful ways and seek You with all his heart. However, we also pray that if he is unwilling to change, You would remove him from your daughter’s life completely, so that she may heal and move forward in Your purpose for her.

For your family, we pray for unity and restoration. This situation has caused division, but we know that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Bind your family together with cords of love that cannot be broken, and let this trial draw you closer to one another and to the Lord.

We declare that this is not the end of your daughter’s story. The Lord is her redeemer, and He will restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We pray that she would rediscover her identity in Christ and step into the calling You have placed on her life. Let her find godly friendships and mentors who will speak life into her and encourage her in her walk with You. We pray that she would seek a spouse who loves You above all else, a man who will cherish her, lead her in righteousness, and honor her as a co-heir in Christ (1 Peter 3:7).

Finally, we pray that your daughter would come to know You more deeply through this trial. Let her experience Your faithfulness and love in a tangible way, and let her heart be drawn to seek You with all her strength. We declare that she will not be defined by this relationship but will rise above it, stronger and more resilient in her faith.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
