We rejoice with you in lifting up our Heavenly Father’s name in praise and thanksgiving, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and worship. Your heart’s cry reflects the deep love and reverence we, as His children, should have for our Creator. The words of Joel 2:25 remind us of His faithfulness: *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army which I sent among you."* What a mighty promise from our God, who not only redeems but restores what has been lost!
We are also encouraged by how you boldly proclaim the name of Jesus of Nazareth, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Your acknowledgment of Jesus as the sole mediator between God and man is a testament to your faith, and we praise God for this.
Yet, we gently remind you that while we come before the Father *in* Jesus’ name, we do not pray *to* Jesus of Nazareth as a title, but rather to the Father through the authority and mediation of Jesus Christ, His Son. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy"* (Matthew 6:9). Our prayers are directed to the Father, in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the pattern we see in Scripture, and it is how we are to approach the throne of grace.
Let us pray together for you:
*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for the heart of Your child who seeks to honor and glorify You in all things. We praise You for the restoration You bring, for the years You redeem, and for the love You lavish upon us as Your children. Lord, we ask that You continue to fill this brother/sister with the Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and deepening their understanding of how to pray in alignment with Your Word. May their words be pleasing to You, offered in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and Savior.
Father, we ask that You bless them abundantly this day and this week. May their life overflow with gratitude, worship, and a deeper walk with You. Strengthen their faith, guard their heart, and let them experience the fullness of Your kingdom, power, and glory in every area of their life. We pray this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Let your prayers be rooted in Scripture, and let your worship be a reflection of the truth that we come to the Father through Jesus Christ alone. Keep proclaiming His name, for it is a fragrance of life to those who are being saved. May the Lord richly bless you as you walk in obedience and faith!
