We hear your request and stand with you in seeking God’s provision for your financial needs. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We know that work is a gift from the Lord, and He calls us to labor diligently while trusting in His faithfulness.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine favor in their search for a second job. Open doors that no one can shut, and provide opportunities that align with Your will. Give them wisdom in their applications, interviews, and decisions, and grant them favor with employers. Strengthen them physically, mentally, and spiritually as they take on this additional responsibility. Help them to manage their time wisely, honoring You in all they do. We also pray for endurance and perseverance, that they would not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May this season of seeking be one where their faith in You deepens, and may they experience Your provision in ways that glorify Your name.
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this season. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Surrender your plans to Him, and ask Him to direct your steps. If there are areas where you may need to adjust your expectations or approach, be open to His leading.
Lastly, we remind you that our ultimate security is not in jobs or financial stability, but in Christ alone. He is our Provider, and in Him, we lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). Keep your heart anchored in His promises, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. If you have questions about salvation or want to ensure your relationship with Christ is secure, we would be honored to walk with you in that journey.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will meet you in this time of need. May He bless you abundantly as you seek Him first.
