We join you in bringing these financial and work-related needs before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you of this truth because it is so important. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we have not yet trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for then you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by His name we pray and by His blood we are made right with God.

We lift up the brother in the building trade that you mentioned and the businesses for building and gardening services. We pray that God would open doors for honest work and provide for every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray that the Lord would establish the work of their hands and that whatever they do, they would work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We are encouraged that when we commit our deeds to Yahweh, our plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3, and when we commit our way to Yahweh and trust also in Him, He will bring it to pass Psalm 37:5.

We also pray concerning those who owe money for jobs already completed. The Lord cares about justice and integrity in business. Scripture says you shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning Leviticus 19:13 and we are taught to give everyone what is owed Romans 13:7. We pray that those who are indebted would be convicted to pay in full and promptly, and that our brothers would be treated fairly and with honor. We pray for wisdom and grace in how to follow up on these debts with both firmness and Christlike character, showing diligence without strife.

We understand the desire for big jobs, big contracts, and massive financial blessing, and we join you in asking God to provide abundantly. At the same time we encourage you to seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. God is able to give power to get wealth Deuteronomy 8:18, and He delights to provide for His children so they can provide for their households and be generous to others 1 Timothy 5:8, 2 Corinthians 9:8. Yet we also remember that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Timothy 6:10, and that true blessing includes contentment, stewardship, honesty, and generosity, not merely abundance. We pray not only for increase but for wisdom to steward whatever God provides faithfully and to use it for His glory.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You that You are our Provider and that You know the needs of these businesses and families in South Africa. Lord, we ask that You would grant favor for good and honorable contracts for both the building work and the gardening services. Open doors that no man can shut, and give skill, strength, diligence, and integrity to do excellent work that testifies to Your goodness. Lord, we ask that You would move in the hearts of those who owe payment to pay what is due quickly and in full, that there would be justice and peace in these matters. We pray for massive blessing not for selfish gain but so that these brothers may provide well, employ others, give generously, and honor You with their finances. Keep them from the love of money and from dishonest gain, and teach them to be faithful in little and in much. Above all, draw each person involved closer to Jesus, that they would know Him as Savior and Lord and seek His will above all else. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, to work diligently as unto the Lord, to keep clear and honest records, to communicate with grace and truth to those who owe you, and to trust the Lord to provide in His perfect timing. He is faithful.

We appreciate you writing to us from ### and sharing these needs so clearly. We hear how much you want to see honest, good work provide well, both in building and in the gardening services, and how heavy it can feel when payment for work already done is delayed.

We are joining you in prayer for open doors for steady, worthwhile contracts and for wisdom in how you steward each opportunity the Lord brings. We also understand the strain when others owe you for jobs completed. It is right to hope they will do what is fair and pay in full.

One practical step that often helps in this kind of season is to keep a simple, clear record for each job, an agreed quote or invoice in writing, dates and amounts, and then follow up with a brief, gracious written reminder. If you have a trusted, experienced business person nearby, asking them to look over how you set terms and follow up can also bring peace of mind and protect relationships.

Father, we lift up our brother and these two areas of work to You. Provide for his needs according to Your wisdom, grant him favor and integrity in every job, and move on the hearts of those who owe payment to settle what is due. Give him guidance for each decision and quiet confidence that You see his labor. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have received your request from ### and we have carried it before the Lord in prayer.

We pray for you and for those entrusted to these labours, that the Lord who provides for all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus would open doors for honest work and supply what is needful for daily bread. We ask that He would grant diligence and skill in the building work and in the gardening services, and that what is undertaken may be done faithfully and well, as unto the Lord. As it has been said, if you make your own business God's business, you will do your business well. When a man serves his Father in his calling, his labour becomes sweet employment, and he may be useful in his day and generation.

We pray also concerning those who owe payment for work already done, that the Lord would incline their hearts to that which is just and right, to render what is due. May all your dealings be marked by integrity, and may those who deal with you be moved to do likewise.

Yet we would exhort you with the word of the Lord, Let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things as ye have, for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. There is a laudable pursuit of gain without which business would not be properly carried on, but there is a line scarcely as broad as a razor's edge between diligence in business and greediness for gain. We pray therefore not only for abundance, but for contentment, wisdom and a heart kept from the love of money, that whether the Lord gives little or much, you may be found faithful stewards, making money for Jesus and using what He entrusts to you for His glory and the good of others.

Above all we are reminded that we are all by nature plunged in debt before God, owing Him the debt of obedience which we could never pay. Only He to whom the debt is due can forgive it, and He has done so fully in Christ, who by His blood has blotted out all the obligations of His people, so that not one pennyworth of debt remains upon the score of those who believe. May you know ever more deeply that mercy, and may your business and your household be ordered in the light of it, seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all needful things shall be added unto you.

We pray that the Lord would prosper the work of your hands as seems good in His sight, keep you from anxiety, and cause your lives and labours to bear witness to His faithfulness, that others seeing your good works may glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We commend you to His gracious keeping and remain in prayer with you.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
